USC linebackers coach and recruiting coordinator Peter Sirmon is set to be named the defensive coordinator at Mississippi State.

LA is not exactly heaven on Earth but I cannot imagine leaving the suburbs of SoCal for Starkville, MS in January.

I really like this hire. The scheme is Mullen's, it hasn't changed since he's been here. We needed a damn good recruiter and LB coach and that's what we got.
