Thankfully, some reporters with some balls showed up to this.

No, some unethical reporters showed up to this. Drilling someone making actual difficult decisions, and being disrespectful in the process.

No we just find it ridiculous that the local schools beat writers are going ape shite over a guy we all k ow would be snatched up by any SEC school if Mullen pulled his scholly. I mean Stringfellow continued to hit women in Oxford after he got there. Even knocked one woman's tooth out. Mullen knows what he is doing and Jeffrey will be a exemplary player

Does it matter? You let him in school all the same. And if I'm not mistaken his was worse than Simmons. Simmons was charged with misdomeanor simple assault.
Go ahead, say the words, I know you want to. "That State Dawg controlled judicial system."

every situation is different. a lot of players come from very rough backgrounds and college ball is probably their only way out. many of these players take the high road and indeed do upgrade their lives. ergo, in a way, college football (basketball too) is a social program that is paid for by the fans of each school. as social programs go, it is very effective because the at risk player has a support group and he is taken out of the hood and supposedly separated from the gang in the hood.
these players that do not turn their life around and continue to exhibit thug/gang behavior eventually get weeded out. colleges should not and can not continue to give these law breakers more chances over and over again just because they are great athletes. society must be protected, social experiment or not.
I don't know the answer but a line must be drawn in the sand. certain crimes have got to result in the boot. and jail time if it's called for. our institutions are more important than any one person or any football game.

Yes it does...Gaylord the Male Nurse up there is saying Stringfellow beat up a chick while on the team....if so he would be gone as fast as Cox was (yeah I went there). In regards to worse....maybe depending on what side of story you believe. However he was punished via the judicial system and had to sit out a year. I have already said I think Simmons doesn't deserve to kicked off etc...but the PR backlash is 100% warranted due to the adhoc nonchalant manner it was announced and just because of all the Holy Then Though BS Pure As Driven Snow Grinder We Call People Out On Their Religious Beliefs crap you and your entire fan base throw around non-stop. So DWI you hypercritical biotch

Does anyone else think the creators of college athletics are turning in their graves? I realize we have all fallen victims to it, not pointing fingers here, but it is ridiculous what is considered a "student athlete" now.

I agree, but I would argue that misdomeanor simple assault isn't over that line. That's the problem, this is getting blown up and everyone ignores the fact that our judicial system has already addressed it.

I kind of agree with Stricklin. Its not the same as beating your girlfriend. Its bad but it was a parking lot fight and the girl was beating his sister.

Wait, I has a confuse. Is that supposed to be an insult? Cox was the starting safety on a 9-0 team that got arrested for domestic violence and was immediately suspended indefinitely to which he missed his senior day and his eligibility expired.

Clearly pointing out that your delusional persona of "our boys are pure grinders" and "only Ole Miss EVAH has issues" is complete utter bullshite and saying Stringfllow has knocked a tooth out of a chick while Ole Miss is some ED level conspiracy crap.
