There is no way Coach Elmo can bring the Aggies to glory.

I like the Elko hire but I think he has a ceiling in this league around 9-3 competing with a bunch of other elite coaches and players. Defensive minded coaches are hit or miss in college and the pros. Saban and Kirby seem to be the only ones who are consistently great.

The fact that Texas is in the SEC now is going to do nothing but hurt A&M.
They had 12 years to get a leg up on Texas and ruined their opportunity. Its over now.

It definitely won't help them. Most logical A&M fans would agree with that. Now that NIL and the portal are totally out of control, it's hard to know who will be good from year to year.

Most logical fans agree that now that we are in the same conference, playing the game and winning will accomplish what being the only Texas team in the SEC accomplished previously.
So, win the game and it helps plenty. Lose the game and it hurts.
