I don't understand why tv networks are concerned about market size . They should be concerned about quality of the product . Why is Espn paying the sec a boatload of money ? It sure isn't the size of tv markets in Tuscaloosa , Baton Rouge , Auburn etc . It is about the quality of football .

It's not really about the actual number of viewers. It's about the league's reach, which brings influence and consequently more viewers by default.

Now that we know who North Carolina is (instead of who they've pretended to be), they should receive an immediate invite.

Nothing screams "cultural fit" like an athletic academic fraud scandal.

I don't know which is more comical.... how he doesn't think that UF already has the Tampa and Orlando markets or that USF and UCF would deliver them.

Actually it's about in-state subscribers within the SEC footprint @ $1.30 per compared to 25 cents per outside.

I can dig that.
Y'all would have to move to the West though.

When you're only rebuttal is that you're a charter school then it's no wonder why someone is talking about bringing in someone else in your place.

Kentucky has men's basketball.
Vanderbilt has academics.
Mississippi State brings nothing to this conference.

It's about being able to charge a higher rate in the states with SEC teams for the SEC Network compared to a lower rate in states without SEC teams.

I misread, sorry. Bianchi is a fool. Never happen in a million years. Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and South Carolina would block it.

In a way he's got a point, two schools splitting a small market. But yeah charter members ain't going anywhere. Unless we are talking the Big8/Bevo12. We going to the SEC baby.

Two strokes of a pen will remedy that.

First, dissolves the conference. Second re-forms it without Moo State.

But that'll only satisfy 40 to 50 Aggies, tops.

What then?

Reasons Ole Miss is not going anywhere
1. We cured AIDS
2. #11 in total bowl wins
3. #1 winning percentage in bowl games
4. 3 Miss Americas
5. LSU would lose their rival
