I hate how the media always overhypes Michigan every year when they only have two difficult games on their schedule. Michigan will roll through their cupcake schedule of Maryland and Minnesota and then get destroyed by either Ohio State or in the playoffs. The only true contenders are in the SEC and Ohio State.

Regardless, Jim Harbaugh is good for college football, and this is likely his last year as a college coach.

Michigan, Ohio State, Notre Dame and SoCal almost always are overrated and trading on decades old glory in some cases. They each do step up occasionally but not enough to generate the amount of love they get from the national media on an annual basis.

Why do you rank Ohio St ahead of Michigan?

Both are good programs who can’t get over the hump but one of those has 2 blowouts the last two tries vs the other.

it took him awhile, but harbaugh has built very good olines and front 7's. Add good qb and skill poisitons, nope, they are not overrated these days, imo.

they looked bad against TCU in the playoffs, but they are still shaking off the rust. they have been out of it for a long time.

Harbaugh is an outstanding coach. He won at UC San Diego, Stanford and the 49ers. At Stanford he beat USC as a 41 point underdog and soundly beat Virginia Tech in the Orange Bowl by 4 touchdowns to finish the season at 12-1. He took the 49ers to the playoffs for the first time in years.

Idk if I'd say they're overrated but if they do anything but go undefeated they don't deserve to make the playoffs because that is one sorry arse schedule.

Until last season he had not won his conference...ever. Not at Michigan, not at Stanford.

Let it go! It's time to stop talking about Georgia;s schedule. This thread is about Michigan!

Michigan is not overrated …. LSU wishes they were as good . They have beaten Ohio state 2 times in a row …. Yes TCU beat them but with how UGA struggled with Ohio state and how LSU got destroyed by UGA …. I don’t think your really thinking it thru .

The king of being overrated, year after year, is FSU.
