According to an article, former LSU coach Dale Brown says he charted all the shots Maravich took during his 3 years at LSU. Saying that if there was a 3pt line then Maravich would have averaged 57pts a game and his final tally for 3 years would have been 4731pts. No discredit to Clark, but Maravich...

Yes, Pearl Moore scored 4061 points while playing for Francis Marion University before there was a 3pt shot and before the NCAA ran women's basketball ( I believe it was run by something called the AIAW back in the 1970s)...

I echo Lonnie Utah on this and those that said it is comparing apples and oranges. What would Pete have scored if there was a 3pt shot back then? Each record stands on it's own....

This is just another example of the uselessness of the NCAA. I remember when we got in trouble for offering a choice between peanut butter and cream cheese as bagel toppings during a recruiting visit.
Another prime example of why FCS, Div. II & III should have zero say in how Div.1 conducts busin...

It's one game. Auburn is good and at home they are very good and tough. We ran into a perfect storm last night and they played lights out. Win the next one and keep moving forward. Oh, and congrats to Auburn for the clinic they put on last night!...
