ARTICLE 3. A live ball becomes dead and an official shall sound his whistle or declare it dead:

Wait a minute, his wrist? Well, yeah. If that sounds like splitting hairs, tell it to Arkansas' All-American tight end, D.J. Williams, who had a virtually identical touchdown called back on review in last week's Sugar Bowl loss to Ohio State because, yes, he used his wrist for balance:

Huh.
That rule says nothing about a wrist nor does it differentiate the back or front.
I was just taking everyone's word for it that it did.

Seriously though, I have no clue what they give the players. Only know of the big crystal ball.

Play to the whistle... that's what they did.

BINGO! He was down, but it really won't matter in a few months anyway.

You might wanna read the rules before opening your pie hole, moron.

If you look at the replay, it sure seems like Dyer's ankle is on the ground. By ankle, I mean the bone that sticks out to the outside above the foot. So the question is, is that ankle bone part of the foot, or part of the leg? It seems anatomically it would be part of the leg. If it's part of the leg (and not the foot) he should have been ruled down.
I'm not hating, I'm glad Auburn won. What are your thoughts?
