We all know Mett didn't lose the Bama game for us and the Bama D didn't win the game for Bama

We had trouble in the red zone at times and gave up huge drives at the end of each half. Plain and simple. Mett (just like in the GA game this year) did everything he could to win those games.

Only thing I remember about Mett is watching him being sacked to end the game.

Of course that is what you would do...I promise you want to just forget the rest of what happened.

"You play to win the game."

Congrats on the nice stats by Mettiah in the loss to Bama.

Hey, miracles do happen. Even Saban compared it to the Bluegrass Miracle

See my topic from july on projecting the best sec qb
Performers for this season. I had lsu qb at the top
And some thought it was ludicrous.

4 terribly thrown incomplete passes on the game winning drive is "everything he could do"... that doesnt seem like Heisman material if you are satisfied with that.

The guy got pummeled on first down, he was shaken up so badly that Miles had to call the only timeout left he had for him to try to get his head on straight. After that, he missed some passes. So, yeah...blame Mett. The fumble by OBJ is definitley not what did us in

Yea that's pretty neat-o. Maybe yall can be like Bama in 2010 and after losing 3 games go on to whoop a Big 10 team in a bowl game and be known as one of the best 3 loss teams ever. :Decline off again:

JFF throwing 3 picks vs LSU at home last year wasn't heisman material either. I guess they allow a bad game sometimes.

Simple fact is Mett single handedly had the chance to lead a game winning drive. Just like Murray did the possession before. he failed to do so. Therefore, he did not do everything he could to win the game. He played a great game. But claiming he did everything he could is a dumb statement. And that is why Mett was the second best QB on the field that game.

His biggest competition was a guy with an imaginary girlfriend... He didnt have to do much to win the Heisman.
