the only time in the last 10 years a&m has been good at football there were cardboard cut outs of people in the stands

They have had every advantage over virtually every single one of their competitors for their entire history.
As a school and community, they are infested with liberal assholes with woke agendas.
A&M has recently begun to enjoy all the same advantages, and has yet to cash in.
Those are all just facts.
Prior to the 70's, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan & Penn State all had significant advantages over Texas.
Most major universities offer conservative curriculums (business, engineering, various sciences) and liberal curriculums (medicine, law, journalism, psychology, education).
With the exception of Texas being the Flagship University for the State of Texas, TAMU has had the opportunity and the access to those same advantages.
A&M chose not to access those advantages available to them and has not seized those opportunities.
A&M chose not to admit women until 1963.
A&M chose to not offer these degree plans until...
1961 Mays Business School
1969 College of Education and Human Development
1997 Bush School of Government and Public Service
2013 Health Science Center
2013 School of Law
It is very hard to attract the best & the brightest when you don't encourage business, education, government & public service, medicine and law.
Those are also facts.
