Also remember Matt Jones making a ridiculous play where he slipped out of two tackles by pretty good lb's to save the game

He saved Nutts job for 4 years by doing this

Was that the first game we used it? It was at least the game that made the rest of the nation know about it, but I can't remember if we had been running it before that game.

First game as "we" were commenting about how it was typical Nutt to have a team on a decent drive then having problems lining up for a play once momentum was starting to be built, then McFadden was snapped the ball...

Nice, thanks for posting. I hadn't seen or heard about that game before today. Winning @ #4 Tennessee in our first conference season in which we struggled is pretty legendary.

Yeah, beat Tenner and LSU that year. Really the only question is just how good was the Citadel that year...

I was at the lake water-skiing and listening to that game on the radio as a kid. My dad threw a drink across the boat into a jetski splattering scotch everywhere... Oh, the memories of that Citadel game.

My grandpa took me to my first Razorback game, he promised it would be a game I would never forget.

He was right, but for all the wrong reasons.

Who would've ever known that coach (Crowe) who was fired the day after the Arkansas loss would seek redemption so many years later..

Jacksonville State (Crowe) over Ole Miss (Houston Nutt) to provide his own Citadel'esk victory all while Arkansas fans rooting it on to happen...

Why are half of the young people in #3 wearing burnt orange at an Arkansas game?

I was listening to the game with a group of friends, one a Vol fan. When Orlando Waters returned the punt, he went silent. When Todd Wright kicked the field goal, he got sick and puked. (a lot of beer had been consumed that day)
I remember Joe Kines saying something to the effect that "this time it took 3 rocks" to knock off Goliath.
