Holy shite, how did I forget about that one? I guess when you've been involved in two 7 OT games the 6 OT game becomes a little less memorable. But you're right, that game was epic; if only Arkansas had won it though.

It definitely deserves mention. The fact that we have been thru 2 seven OT games coupled with the fact that we lost makes Arky fans tend to forget that one.

The fumble for me,which led to Tennessee going up against a third string ginger QB that never started in High School for the championship...

The 1992 25-24 win was one of the most memorable for me...our first year in the SEC. We were awful, so it was really embarrassing for Tennessee.

I about died when Richard Smith caught that huge 90 yarder toward the end of regulation. I can't remember ever being that pissed off watching a football game

That's the only part of the game I can remember off the top my head. I remember watching it with my dad and going crazy when that happened.

Remember, Hootie always followed his first SEC loss with at least one more.

We also beat LSU in '92.

UCLA and Kansas State were in it right to the end, too.

UCLA lost to Miami in a game that was put at the end of the schedule because of a cancellation due to a hurricane. Miami was terrible early in the season and UCLA got hosed.

I was fortunate enough to be at the game as a student that year. I remember the game ending at like 12:01 am. Place was still packed. It went nuts when Clausen hit Witten in OT to win it.

Also remember Matt Jones making a ridiculous play where he slipped out of two tackles by pretty good lb's to save the game...think he scored on the play. That 92 yard TD pass was crazy... not sure how the guy was so wide open.
