Use the same plan, same outcome.

Yeah, like that time he compared Jamarcus Russell to Elway, or that time he claimed Jimmy Clausen was the best overall player in the draft.

mel kiper thought it was a good idea to draft ryan tannehill in the top 10... thats all you need to know about count dracula.

Nick Saban's been tryin' to tell y'alls dumb asses this for 3 weeks.

He wears a dead animal on his head.

I agree that we shouldn't read too much into the Arky, and I hate to say that because I had been really looking forward to that one over the summer. The shitty part is he won't have any reason to shut up either with a 1-2 FAU team coming to town this week.

Kiper is one guy I seemingly always agree with..extremely knowledgeable

Considering how much Bama lost on defense he might be right but I will tell you this, Saban isn't overrated; he's got those guys playing lights out so far.

you want to see overrated, put your team on the field with them.

Before the merger, we were scheduled to play Bama and I wish we were; you really don't know how good you are until you play the best. My objective assessment though is, both Bama and LSU are significantly better in the trenches than UGA and that would like be the difference.

Wonder how much Saban paid Kiper to say that

Alabama is better than the Atlanta Falcons.

It doesnt sound like he is saying Alabama isn't #1, but I think he is saying the gap isn't as big as many are trying to make it out to be.
That's what I got out of it too

I think there's an overreaction to Alabama right now. They beat a depleted Michigan team and depleted Arkansas team
I think he's right here.
Air Force gave Michigan problems.
Arkansas lost to ULM.

How can he say that and keep his job ? Isn't he supposed to say Alabama is unbeatable and will not lose again as long as CNS is at the Capstone?
Posted on 9/20/12 at 8:06 am to I-59 Tiger
I'm not sure how three blowout wins and two shutouts = Bama's overrated. I'm also not sure how Michigan was "depleted" to the point of having an excuse for having their azz handed to them. They still had Denard Robinson who is the whole reason for them being preseason top 10. Arkansas, I'll admit, was beat before the game kicked off.

I think it remains to be seen. Bama is certainly a very good team. But, we really haven't been tested at all yet.
agreed. you could put LSU in there for Bama and it's the same thing
agree x10 - great team(s) but time will tell how great... too early to know 100%
(except I'm an LSU homer so, ya, we're that awesome and will win all of our games by an avg margin of 40+ pts... forever)

Okay, so we can all agree that both LSU and Bama have yet to be tested. Bama should remain #1 until they are beaten. I think any team coming off a natty win should remain this way. It's not Bamas fault Michigan sucks and Arky was a plug.
Looking forward to 11/3 @ TS.
