So LSU had freshman make huge impacts and we beat you, because we lack depth. GTFO. Your players are just overhyped.

If they are indeed overhyped, why is Alabama playing for a national title for the second time in three years, as well as having a 47-6 record since 2008? And lets not forget that Alabama leads the national in first round draft picks since 2008 as well.

What about the fact that you whined your way into the National Championship game and caused a team with a better resume to not have a shot at a team you already lost to at home?

Also, what does your overhyped recruits have to do with the accomplishments of teams they weren't even on?

The poster didn't reference which players he was insinuating were "over-hyped". At this point the same could be levied against a lot of classes. We won't know the full picture until 2-3 years from now.

The LSU depth chart lists two freshmen starters, one of whom is your punter, and a DT Anthony "freak" Johnson. I am unaware of other freshmen who have made huge impacts for LSU.

LSU is just as deep if not deeper than Alabama. LSU has redshirted some guys who may turn pro after their RS Soph seasons. This demonstrates an extreme amount of depth, but may be counter productive as you are getting an on field contribution from them for only two years.

This is why Dee Hart could play in the BCSCG, even though he has not played all year due to injury, as he could leave after his SOPH season if he is redshirted.

And only 3 of 11 wins earned this season came against teams with winning records.

Are we supposed to be impressed with 8 wins against teams that are 0.500 or below? How about that impressive 9th win that comes from beating an atrocious Auburn team that lost by 24+ points 4 times this season including losses of 24, 35, 38, and 28?

Bama may be the most overrated team of the past decade.

Yet, all Alabama has to do is be better for four quarters on January 9th and there's not a God damn thing you can change about that.

They may be, but if they beat LSU they will be NATIONAL CHAMPS! It is hard to be overrated and national champs.

He has done absolutely nothing to show that he could possibly leave that early.

Don't you know that Bama recruits' rankings are fact on how great they are?

They are never overhyped and never miss.

I remember watching Vinnie Sunseri in the Under Armour AA game last year and thinking that there was no way that there were 78 linebackers coming out of high school last year that were better than him. The dude has great instinct and nose for the football. I think he'll make it in the NFL. Not a Pro Bowl type guy, but a contributor.

I mean, by that thinking, we should go ahead and play Kris Frost in the bowl game even though he's just now healthy again, because he's gonna leave after his soph year if we RS him because he was a 5*

The Coaches were impressed with his spring and he was the third string RB and first team return man.

If he plays in the BCSCG he loses an entire year of eligibility.

If he redshirts and leaves after his SOPH year, Bama gets only 2 years out of him.

If he plays, he still has 3 years of eligibility left. If he does not reach his projected potential he can stay for his senior year.Bama gets him for 3 more years.

Basically, he has lost this year whether he plays or not. He is too talented to stay for 5 years.

We don't know that. He's done nothing on the field
