Derrius Guice at LSU is a bigger version of McCafferey and if utilized right will be a stud.

Moronic. McCaffery had a monster year and is a playmaker rushing, receiving, and returning, but he pales in comparison to a talented kid who hasn't accomplished 1/50th of what he has yet.
Those who haven't seen McCaffery play(yet have a opinion about him), you need to. Kid is a baller.

Well this is some stupid shite.

But padding your stats against awful defenses in September and October makes you totally legit.
It's amazing that you people really believe this is the only reason Fournette ran for almost 2k.

Until Fournette performs against a good defense (not a knock, look at the stats) and Chubb shows he can come back from injury, you have to take McCaffrey.

It's amazing people think Henry averaged 40 attempts per game. Fact is, LFs last 200 yard game was October 3rd against E Michigan.

quote:Not sure why that matters. LF and Henry played 7 common opponents. LF had a higher yards per carry than Henry. So, the "weak opponent" angle for LF is a false narrative created by idiots

So in pure rushing numbers, this is wrong. Fournette had over 200 yards vs Texas Tech.
In pure yards, it's also wrong. Fournette had over 250 yards from scrimmage against Tech, over 200 against A&M, and 180 against Ole Miss.
What's your point? Besides being wrong, that is.

Or, Bama fans who know this is the last time anyone is going to recognize Henry's name in a positive light.

Common opponents YPC = We don't want to talk about Bama and the awful Carolina team we got to play at home, and Henry still rushed for more yards and ypg against those common opponents.

My point was rushing yardage, McFly. He did bust 200 on the worst rushing defense in the country against Tech, though. My b.

I'm not posting about Henry any differently than Alabama posters here do about Fournette. I'm just firing back.

I guess so. Carry on with your negativity. I'll pray for you.

Also incorrect.

Or you could just ignore it.

126, right above, you guessed it, E Michigan. That's the definition of padding your stats against shite defenses.

Oh, dear, two games.
You're right, Alabamafan. Fournette is worthless. He's the biggest joke in the SEC.

I agree with you. Fournette is definitely a great talent. but is it any more ignorant for them to say that about Fournette than it is for some LSU posters to say similar things about Henry? It's very difficult to say any running back (or any other position for that matter) is betetr than another because of different offensive schemes, OL, complementing pieces offensively, etc. Any running back would look good behind Alabama's OL, but that doesn't say Henry is not good. Henry was great last season. Fournette was great last season, too.
