McCaffery did all this against some of the worst defenses of all time. frick no Henry 100% deserves the Heisman. I don't care if he plays at Alabama. If he doesn't win, it would be the big big snub. He's had almost 2,000 yards and 23 TDs against the toughest competition in the country. Derrick Henry should win it, not McCaffery.

Explain why Henry repeatedly scored from deeeeeep but McCaffrey couldn't seem to do the same. I believe Henry has as many TDs from 50 yards as McCaffrey has from outside the 11 yard line.

Henry is more of a Home Run threat, I'll give you that.

My argument was that points are points. I agree that who crosses the goal and how they do it counts. But it also needs to be viewed in the broader context of a team's offensive and scoring proficiency.

Stanford ranked about 10 places higher in total offense and scored 10 more touchdowns. McCaffrey not used in short yardage situations. A bit gimmicky, but worked for Stanford. I think the broader context agrument favors CM.

This really is the best slate of heisman candidates in a long time.

It's evenly matched, but nothing special.

1997 is the benchmark: Manning, Woodson, Moss - three guys who were indisputably among the most talented to ever play their position and all of whom are locks for the NFL HOF.

Yet, 7 of his 12 TDs were within the 11 yard line. They guy didn't rack up TDs. He didn't break off huge TD runs. He just chugged away. Awesome season, but I don't know about Heisman worthy.

Yeah, McCaffrey does all the things that Reggie did.

Well McGOATffrey actually did more.. More all purpose yards that is than anyone else in college football history including Reggie Bush

So you rather have him over Bush? After all, he's a bigger stronger version of Reggie and did more

The SEC is going to dominate bowl season. Only 2 teams at the most will lose. They will sweep the the Bowl games against the BIG and Tennessee will beat Northwestern by three TDs minimum.

Words can't describe how excited I would be for that. The rest of the country would suddenly not care about bowl season, though.

With the type of play McCaffery had this year, I think they are certainly interchangeable with how dominant that USC team was. McCaffery single-handedly carries this team. If you put him with as great of talent as the USC team his season is even more impressive

Reggie Bush Seems To Agree He's The Best This Year

I dont think Reggie gets a vote anymore. It will all be decided soon. America will decide who is the best.

I suspect America believes Henry is much better.

He led Stanford in receiving is testament to how crappy their WR's are.
