The TD argument doesn't hold as much water for me. If Stanford moved the ball but struggled to put points on the board then maybe it would be a better point. But apart from the opening half of the first game of the season, Stanford was a pretty well-oiled offensive machine. They just spread the wealth around when it came time to score.
Stanford scored more TDs and more points than Bama. A greater percentage of Stanford's possessions resulted in TDs and a greater percentage of their red zone trips resulted in TDs.
To be honest, Bama was the team that had trouble scoring and finishing drives. Alabama ranked 36th in TDs per game, 60th in TD percentage and 102nd in red zone TD efficiency, all of which were the worst among top ranked teams. Alabama's defense was just VERY good at getting them the ball back quickly and setting them up with good field position.

Exactly. Keeps bringing up how crazy Bama fans are for not respecting MaCaffrey (which is true) but doesn't acknowledged the many of the board that do the same to Henry.

The guy is just dishonest all through this thread. He will respond to someone who is discounting what Mac has done this year by discounting Henry, bait someone else to respond to that and gets his argument started. He never discounted anything Mac did to counter someone discounting Henry.
But then he will say that all three are worthy (which I agree with) to try to prove that he is unbiased.

Sorry if I'm screwing up our perception of Caff. The guy is awesome and I've praised him in every Heisman thread except this one. I was just trying to "out-care" Roger...but now I see that he doesn't care about football. So, I'll slow my roll.

This really is the best slate of heisman candidates in a long time. It will be truly special if Henry wins it and will launch him ahead of Bo and Herschel for best RB ever.
