Maybe one of you Bammer tards can post a link showing your shite program drew twice saw many fans. I guarantee you won't provide a link because no such link exist. Auburn averaged over 6 thousand fans under Barbee back in 2011 and there is no way in hell those numbers dropped under Pearl

Stop making a fool of yourself.

Auburn could have a 100% average attendance and Bama would still have outdrawn them.....

To be fair that is 2012 you linked. I doubt Bama averaged 12,400 during this season. It was probably more like 10,000 while Auburn drew 7,500 or so.

It is still not this year you tricking tard. I am pretty sure Auburn averaged over 7 thousand for Pearl. Unless Bammer sold out every seat for every game, you did not draw twice as many fans. No way in hell you did that

It is laughable that a Bammer would bring up what other people think considering what the entire known universe thinks of your entire fan base

Yeah, you link some AUM stuff from word press while the other is from the largest media distributor in Alabama. Archibald's opinion was just his opinion, the recorded conversations are not a matter of opinion.

Private Recordings

quote:

After that final interview, the committee focused its deliberations on two candidates, Clark and Jones. Discussions heard on the recording of that meeting reveal three key realities, particularly in light of the eventual decision to shut down the football program: 1) Mackin felt it necessary to run the committee's choice by University of Alabama System Chancellor Robert Witt and two key trustees, Paul Bryant Jr. and Finis "Fess" St. John, indicating at least some involvement by UA; 2) sometime between the committee's formation and its final meeting, the members learned they could not offer their chosen candidate a typical contract of four or five years, but only three, hinting that UAB did not want to be obligated for the long term; and 3) the committee felt it would be up to Clark to save the program.

Again I am not even sure UAB football was viable, but I am sure the way it was handled was piss poor. If a program of any type is in trouble, you should set benchmarks for progress and if the they are not met, that is the way it bounces. The way it was handled was about as far from transparent as you can get.

Alabama basketball made more money than Auburn - won more games than Auburn - sold more tickets than Auburn - put more asses in seats than Auburn.

The pissing contest was won by a really shitty Alabama team who's head coach is on the unemplyoment line as we type.

Lord God help us!

We have one Aub trying to agrue about basketball attendance between two Bama/Auburn teams that were shitty this season. And another Aub mourning over a freaking UAB football program that will never see the field again.
