That was, after all, your premise as to why Canada isn't a good hire.
No. I said Canada may be an excellent coordinator. I just wouldn't use that list of QBs to make that claim.
His running backs? That's another story.

That was a tough break for Croyle. Drafted when Kansas City had an elite OL. But most retired or left shortly after. He never had a chance to be successful. Then the injuries piled up.

or maybe you should look at the production in college of the QBs he coached rather than looking at the talent he had to work with. Looks a hell of a lot better than what LSU has been doing, but maybe that's just me

Jesus dude.
I never said he wasn't a good OC. Stop being so insecure.

I know exactly what you said. We're talking about him coaching QBs, so I posted the numbers of QBs who have started for him. Stop being so obtuse

Ok, well if you want to go that route, those numbers are fricking terrible to be honest with you.
Still doesn't mean he's a bad OC.

you see those little marks next to the guys with poorer numbers? yeah, that means they were injured during the season.

cam cameron was a "home run hire" just three short years ago

funny seems like the DCoordinater opinion is more respected than the Head Coach.
Because the "DCoordinater" [sic] is the Associate Head Coach.

Cut us a lil slack, that was on the heels of having our Line Coach Studrawa as Offensive Coordinator for 2 years.

You take Harnish off that list, who was already an established star before Canada arrived, that's a very mediocre list of QB's.

Seems the Pitt board doesn't like the idea of him leaving - I guess they love overrated coordinators !

Well, they also experienced Jim Chaney the year before Canada.

So I'll take it as a positive that he was able to put together successful offenses with such mediocre QB talent.

His offense outside of this seasons has been average at best, so no.

In fact I remember him at Wisconsin in 2012 or 2013. Their offense put up a whopping 7 points in a loss to Oregon State.
There are many variables in play. First, perhaps Canada as simply evolved/matured as a coach and is a better coach now. Or maybe he didn't have much talent to work with during those years at Wisconsin. Wisconsin is certainly a better team now but it is NOT the same team that it was in 2012 and 2013. There are many potential factors.
