I will say this... AJ Mcarron or however you spell his name impressed me in the spring game. I didn't expect him to be that good when I watched him at the Army All American game he looked horrible.

Possibly the dumbest shite ever posted on this board, and I've seen it multiple times.

How many games did Suh win for Nebraska single handedly?
How many games did Ingram win for Alabama? South Carolina? In their two closes games Ingram almost fumbled it away and ran for like 20 yards. Heisman stuff.

he beat Ole Miss and florida.

When the lights came on for the big games, he delivered.

Ingram wasn't...
-The best player in the nation. Check
-The best running back in the nation. Check
-The best running back on his own team. Check
-The best player on his team. Check
-The best running back within 90 miles of Tuscaloosa. Check
Hmm... we're still missing one. Any Auburn fans want to help out here?

He wasnt the best back in the state

If I remember correctly he didn't really beat us. We defended pretty well against the run. It was Mcelroy who deserves most of the offensive credit for beating us.

You don't remember very well. Ingram had 186 all purpose yards and three TD's.

thats what i remembered. McElroy did have his best game of his career, but I think a lot of that had to do with Ingram's success

Aaaaaaand... check. I think we've now hit all the major points in the "Mark Ingram shouldn't have won the Heisman" discussion.

Bama vs Florida: 53 carries for 251 yards
Ingram 28 for 113 3 TD's, 2 catches for 76 yards.

How many of those were strictly running, and how far were his touchdown runs?
GM set up the run in that game, he played awesome and burned us repeatedly.
I'm just saying if any one player on offense beat us, it was Mcelroy.

McElroy, had a great game- but so did Ingram.

113 were rushing yards. Anytime you give up 251 rushing yards, you haven't done well against the run.

I thought Suh should have won the Heisman. IMHO
Heck, Toby almost beat him in very close voting.
If not for Suh, TG likely wins over Ingram.
Gerhart >> Ingram

no frickin way. Gerhart might have meant more to his team then Ingram, but what Ingram did against the SEC greatly outweighs what toby did against the pac 10.

Gerhart's a nice player but I doubt this will even be a debate down the line cause Ingram will end up being the much better pro.
Ingram also had a clearly higher ypc, 6.2 to 5.5, Gerhart's better stats overall were solely due to no Trent Richardson playing for Stanford.
