Bama was the best team but they still needed some gift calls from the refs and lots of luck to win 3 of their games. As good as they were the margin between a championship and a 3 loss season is very slim. All those thinking they are a lock this year would do well to remember they could have easilly lost those games last year and they will not be as dominate on D this coming year. JMHO. This is going the be a very wide open SEC race in 2010...

This post is hilarious.

You do realize that the margin between LSU going 9-3 and going 6-6 last season was "very slim" don't you? All those thinking LSU's offense will be drastically improved this year would do well to remember that they could have easily lost another 3 games last season and instead of finishing with the #112 offense, they could have finished deadass LAST in the country. If not for a few "gift calls" from refs and lots of luck to win 3 of their games, LSU would have been 6-6.

I think you actually made his point for him.

I will go ahead and state my opinion, for the record, however.....

Which is that Colt McCoy LOST the Heisman with a terrible performance against Nebraska. At the same time, Ingram had a great performance against Florida.

Media increases the salience of certain considerations. Ingram was at "the top of voters heads" so he won.

Truth.

Colt did not deserve the Heisman even without the poor performance in the Neb game.

I'm just fricking around with him to show that the sword cuts both ways. No harm meant in my retort.

Oh, we are arguing about that call again...

Consider this: Jarret Lee was one, maybe even two passes away from throwing the game winning TD.

For Alabama.

So cool it dudes, you had more of a chance to win it on a fumble for 6 or a pick 6 than your backup QB and RB getting the ball into the endzone against arguably the best defense in college football.

LSU... we were leading in the 4th quarter til our best player sat on the bench with cramps. That's sad considering we had one of the worst offensive lines I can remember at LSU. Just wait til our line play improves... Bama wont see us.

So, now that your O-line's awesome, who's your running back?

I don't care if Mark Ingram isn't the best player in the country. I like him and I wouldn't trade him for anyone I can name.
