Both field goals missed in the LSU game were a result of a drive starting on LSU's side of the field. He got a grand total of 1 first down on those 2 drives. He also happened to throw 2 interceptions but let's just blame those on the kicker.

should really be asking what the A&M offense could do to SEC defenses in year 2.

Had he caught the ball--rather than inexplicably dropping it--he would have raced to the EZ. No one was within 5 yards of him, and the ball made contact around the 15-20.

Or how about the unnecessary chop block that brought back Makena's TD?

Weird shite happened that game--uncharacteristic drops, all-world LT chop blocks a dude when he didn't need to, WR runs the wrong route.

A list of incidents independent from LSU defensive "dominance" attributed to that win. Saying otherwise is simply wrong.

Still, a win's a win and a loss is a loss. But we're just not all that impressed.

omg you people get better by the second. Not only would you have beaten us by 15 if you hadn't lost to us by 5, but dropped passes at the what 30-35 yard line with Eric Reid in front of you are now clear TDs. This is awesome. Do you ever stop to think that having a big vagina at WR or not being good enough to bring in a good kicker or having a RB who can't hold on the ball against SEC defenders or having a QB who tosses up freebie INTs because he can't tell the difference between man and zone are the reasons you lost instead of just having the worst luck ever and having 50 flukes play out in one game?

Yeah and if LSU didn't have an offensive line coach at OC it would've been a Blowout.

You guys got off easy

Yes I believe in progression. I also don't believe it is a coincidence that the three best defensive minds your team faced absolutely schooled you in the second half after they were able to digest what the offense was bringing.

For every bit of progression your offense makes I expect similar strides from defenses.
