He is 23 years old now...

Better chance he sees 28 years old or plays another snap in the NFL?

Yes being passed out in a trashed mansion with coke and bottles everywhere that he rented several days ago definitely supports this

Yes he is an addict. Been one since A & M days. Badly needs reh. Shulim. To blame along with family.

Let's blame Les Miles for Honey Badger's 18 failed drug tests and all the assualts committed by his players then...

Miles had the balls to kick him off the team..

Not parade him around to get a raise like Sumlin did.

Does this guy's family realize they could be putting him in the ground in the future?

Two words for ignorant tigertards Jamarcus Russell

Manziel hasnt even had half the career jmarc did in the nfl. Jamarcus started taking lean in the NFL after his uncle died, who he was very close with.

People love talking about this guy.

I simply shake my head. He's obviously very troubled and immature. He's not grounded in any way and lives off attention. But yeah I agree with OP, one hot shot of something and he's going to accidentally OD. Go get some help john.

So Jamarcus being a bust makes it ok for Manziel? I'm sure that's the same type attitude he has right now. But I'm not quite so sure I'd be using Jamarcus as an example. Seeing how well things turned out for him....

He talking about all the LSU fans blaming Johnny's tailspin on Sumlin.

As if the guy who coached him for 2 seasons in college, is the reason Johnny is who he is today. It's every bit as absurd as blaming Les Miles for Jamarcus Russel's total lack of work ethic once he got to the NFL.

A grown man is a grown man. The blame for a grown man's poor decisions lays with him, and him alone.

Manziel clearly needs help, and I sincerely hope he gets it before it's too late. Football is not even an afterthought for him anymore.

It's pretty obvious Sumlin allowed Manziel to get away with far too much. Most people who aren't associated with A&M saw this coming.

Well difference being Jamarcus never had any questionable behavior in college. The writing was definitely on the wall for Manziel and Sumlin did absolutely nothing to curtail his arrogant and immature ways. Miles has shown plenty of times he's willing to show his star player the door.

guys I'm sorry to inform you. all of you claiming "he will be dead in a few years". he isnt. he can do a bunch of drugs for a very long time. he will just die 20 years too early but 2 years from now he is still going to be snorting coke thinking his life is awesome. drugs do not kill you as fast as you want to believe. unless you do too much at once; all they do is slowly shorten your life. I know addicts who have been doing hard drugs for 30 years (or more) everyday now. they keep thinking today is the day they will die, but no they keep living, and have to keep getting high.

The truth is Johnnys best years are behind him. How terrible is that when you're only 23?

Screw football. I hope this young man can get some real help before it's too late. Anyone who has had an addict in their family understands that this is a problem that Johnny Manziel will not be able to overcome on his own. He needs help and I pray that he gets it.
