Do y'all not take football seriously down there? 2015 game against the Lou coming up, and he's still making excuses about some game in 2014?

An offensive coordinator always worries about why his offense only scores 44, not about the defense giving up 55.

Which is precisely why Ellis Johnson is still our defensive coordinator.

And Alabama could have easily put 42 on Auburn in the first half of the 2010 game... but guess what, we didn't, we fricked and left a lot of points on the field.

Points you almost scored or "should" have scored don't count and belly aching about them is loser talk.

So... we have seven pages of butthurt because Gus told an ESPN reporter that he was pissed about how his offense and defense played in last year's Iron Bowl and that he plans to fix that shite this year? Is that the full thread summary, or did I miss anything?

When you coulda, woulda, shoulda... and didn't... That makes it your fault Gus.

Well that does look like a decline. Serious question: Is the defense returning a bunch and expected to be better this year, or about the same?

Should be our best defense since 2011. Especially with getting rid of Steele and hiring a Secondary coach.

Malzahn is right. Auburn screwed around too much in the redzone. They SHOULD HAVE put up 60+.

Thanks for getting his point across. Usually when you say terms like "we" over and over, you are taking ownership of it. This is opposed to terms like "they" or "he", "they should not allow draft releases" "they should change the rules" "He didnt do his job" etc... where you place blame on someone else

No, we want to see him every 4 plays for y'all. Why would we not want the opposing team to punt as much as possible?

This is the dumbest post I've seen in a long time.

We should have won 55-0. Our defense beat ourselves for those 44 points.

Auburn did leave alot of points on the board. That doesnt change the outcome of the game. The better TEAM won, it's a rival game, it's always closer than expected. Auburn had a great offense, and as good as Alabamas defense is, Auburns O was better that day.

He's right. They could have put more on us. The bogged down in the red zone several times and had some clock management issues at the end of the half. I love Gus as a coach. He is a fantastic gameplanner and play caller.
That poor clock management before the half was very Les Milesish.

44 points... Their offense beat our defense that day. Our team won. Alabama won the game so it doesnt really matter, but if you are happy with AU putting 44 on us, then more power to you.
