Antonio Callaway was an all-american return player and has challenged for an all-conference selection at WR as a freshman and sophomore. Everyone knows he's one of the more dynamic players in the conference.
Tyrie Cleveland averaged 21.3 ypc last year and really came on at the end of the season.
Brandon Powell has 3 years of being an annoying mismatch in the slot (89 career catches). His counterpart Dre Massey is even more athletic and was supposed to supplant him last year but was injured on opening day kickoff.
Freddie Swain and Josh Hammond both played lots of snaps last year (22 rec, 295 yards combined), and Hammond in particular was raved about all spring.
Callaway and Cleveland should be second round picks the next 2 years. Hammond and Massey look the part athletically and have shown tons of upside. This is the most talent we've had at WR since 2008, just need someone to get them the ball.

Agreed. TJ comes across aggressively, but he's not wrong with a lot of what he says. He has high expectations like we all should.

Its all talk right now...everyone has opinions and a lot of folks disrespect us...but they also fear us. We have a lot of talent on our team.
Look at our game with the tigahs at red stick...we had one arm tied behind our backs defensively by then at the end of the year...missing two players in our secondary, starting LB and a starting DE plus other players. We had true frosh step up...just ask Eitling what he thinks about LB # 11 who popped him into the twilight zone at he goal line.
Those true frosh plus others will play big time football this year..Chauncey Gardner is a future high draft choice from the secondary and he picked off two passes in the Outback Bowl.
Go ahead and dismiss us...its ok...but better pucker up buttercup.

You can trash talk all you want, but there are a number of reasons why UF fans are optimistic about the offense. Good tackles, good WR, good Rb, good TE... no super stars or anything, but they have talent and experience at every position.
The only question is at QB, and if UF finds one, they should field an efficient offense - which will help the defense by keeping them off of the field.

That and Nuss screwing up the game. His playcalling pisses me off more than lack of QB success. He does his QB no favors and puts them in bad spots.

I am laughing at slowboy homer reel_gator. I will believe McElwain has assembled an great offense at Florida when I see it. His offenses the past two annums were worse than Muschamp's

To be fair, that defense was decimated by injuries.
It was basically a completely different team in the 2nd half of the season.

They gave up 38 pts and 500 yards to Tennessee literally 2 days after he said they were the greatest defense he had ever seen.

I never said it was the best defense ever, reel did.
Again through, UF only gave up 8 passing TDs all year, it was just weird that 4 of them were in 1 game.
They gave up 4 passing TDs in the other 13.
