Florida's offense will average 73.5 pts per game this season....

TJ gave his cover away with "you guys"....he certainly isn't one of "us".

And my bitter attitude is not because he disagrees with me, there are a lot Gator posters on the GB who disagree with me...but TJ thrives on bashing everything Gator...never a positive from him. He would love to have us go 1-11.

Wrong. The context was I want Meyer level of success. You're expectations are Citrus Bowls and 4 loss seasons. You still pumped WM after he went 4-8 talmabout that Sugar bowl and 11-2. You're opinion is as good as Peeej. You're still cleaning WMs sperm out you're mouth and it's been 2+ years. You're the worst kind of fan reel. You have zero expectations for UF.

Who the frick are you? Yeah I got reckless on the GB and you guys are soft as frick. Finch, slayer, Dmb, tjv are the real ones on that board. You'll see what a shyt show Mac's defense will be along with his offense. He'll get another year regardless because Stricklin won't fire him when he goes 6-6 or 7-5 this year. Even though he'd need to to get a brand name coach(WM in 2013 2.0)I can hear it now;

He won the East!!! Never mind the blowout losses, losing record vs the top 25, putrid recruiting til now(JRob isn't going to UF) dropping Mac's best signed class to 15th, the terrible hires still on staff in nord and Nuss.

UF arguably has the best WRs in conference.

How so?

If the QB position comes around this year, look out.

Unless something has changed in the game of football the WR's depend on the QB to get them the ball.

So what is the argument of them being the best in conference?

As a whole they're the most talented imo when they get the ball. Problem is this group of QBs can't get it to them. I expect UFs starting QB depth chart:

LDR if healthy
Zaire
Franks
Trask
Toney(wildcat)

He seems very confident. Now, let's see how he reacts to playing SEC competition on defense each week while running that vaunted offensive attack.

Offense better be good, because other SEC coaches think your D will be trash this year.

“They’re going to drop off on defense. It’s kind of an obvious thing to say, but they’re losing a lot of players who played a lot of football."

"The linebackers don’t scare you at all."

"They’ve recruited well on defense, but not great."

"Marcell Harris (now out for the 2017 season) has turned into a good player. He’s long, physical, gets guys on the ground and he’s grown up a lot, but he doesn’t frighten you like Keanu Neal roaming in the back end."

"They’ll have to invent some things to rush the passer this year, and I’m not sure if they can because Randy Shannon likes to keep things simple. It’s a lot of pieces to replace, and the biggest thing they won’t be able to do is just rush four every time. When we played them, I think they blitzed us three times, and they could do that because they could just whip you with the front four and they can’t do that anymore."

This above is why I don't see why anyone on here thinks Florida will win the East again.

This may be why Zaire thinks the O is awesome, however. They are playing against a shite D in practice, even going 1's vs 1's.

Supposed to be the case since Chump left.

Yet last yr when our starters were out, the defense was still stout.

Same was said the past 2 seasons, other teams had their shot to take over the East while the Gators were down. They failed to capitalize and now the Oline is a strength instead of a weakness, the RB's are ready and we may have a QB to bring it all together on offense while still fielding a stout defense.

I wish we would let TJ back on the gator board. Discussion there has fallen off a cliff since he left.

Fact is, a lot of gator fans get mad at TJ for the things he says, but I think deep down a lot of gator fans have these fears in the back of their minds.

The reason most the of fanbase is ignoring that nagging doubt though is that UF has effectively won 10 games the last 2 years, so it's hard to complain, and we all knew that Mac was walking into a bad situation because of the muschamp disaster.

But the truth is, if the offense doesn't pick up the slack this year, UF is going to lose a lot of games. They play at least 6 teams this year with equal or more talent, so if the offense can't score points, with the expected drop off on defense this season, things could get ugly.

But I'm not willing to write off the coaching staff yet. They have done more with less than anyone else in the conference in the past 2 seasons.
