According to State sources, his grades are fine. Guess we will know for sure here shortly when Summer Classes start.

His grades may not have anything to do with it. He may be scared to compete against some of the prospects Howland is recruiting nationally to Starkville.

From what I've read, he and Howland don't really have good chemistry. It sucks, but if that's the case, maybe transferring is the best option for him. Having this much offseason drama won't make him a locker room favorite anyway. Best of luck to him.

He's a diva. Always has been. Said before the season he only intended on playing one year of college ball. Terrible shooting fundamentals. Bye

I hate all these primma donna head case kids that Ole Miss signs. Why can't we sign salt of the earth, blue collar kids like Miss State?

I really don't give a shite about the whole Malik Newman ordeal other than the fact that Rosebowl is catching it up the arse right now on twitter over it.

Pretty hilarious.

Do you hate Rosebowl because he was right about all of the cheating going on at Ole Miss? Serious question.

I don't hate Rosebowl at all. I just enjoy watching him basically shite all over himself on the internet.

I have to admit, I don't know all that he's claimed but what has he been right about other than OM will receive a notice of allegations and that it is worse than what was initially coming out when the NOA was received? Y'all act like he's the oracle.

He's lived off of making incredibly vague comments over the past 6 months and shitting all over his briefs at anyone on twitter that challenges him.

I don't see much if any downside to this. I'm more interested in what Howland does with the extra room. Will he bring in a graduate transfer, juco, or just sit on the scholarship? Newman was a good experiment and signing him helped jump start recruiting and generate publicity, so I still think it was big to get him even though he didn't produce on the court. Hope he has a good career in the NBA eventually.

Safe to say the Newman experiment has failed.
