Henry has been subliminally conditioned to be a shitposting troll due to the sheer number of other Ole Miss shitposting trolls...

Snap out of it Henry!

Newman is not a PG, why try to keep playing him there?

Ready is a much better PG

No... Ole Miss actually has runners now and some of our boosters are getting on board with basketball recruiting .. The basketball recruiting budget is still way behind but the next round of Network $ will help bolster that... it'll be an uphill climb for sure though.. So no MSU fans have ever heard a number from someone who knows ?

Because I am sure the feedback he got from the NBA is telling him to work on his PG skills. A big part of recruiting is getting these 5 star guys into the league. Howland is going to do everything in his power to do that.

So he's going to make the team worse by not starting his best PG?

Newman never was, and never will be a good PG. He doesn't have those skills. Ready will be the PG next year, followed up by Peters.

Hell, Johnny Jones might not be a good coach, but he's not dumb enough to play a guy like Antonio Blakeney at PG.

My little sister is a better PG than Ready. Honestly they should have taken his fricking scholarship and told him to hit the road.

I think it's more of a case that Malik and his dad think that he is a PG and that he needs to play PG, but Howland isn't going to sacrifice everything else just to get him back. If Haratio and Malik make unreasonable demands, they will hit the bricks.

Malik Newman: 2.2 ast to 1.9 TO
I.J. Ready: 4.5 ast to 1.6 TO

Ready also averaged 1 more steal per game AND shot better from the floor.

You dont have any clue what you're talking about, as per usual.

Newman was playing injured all of last year. It's hard to say at this point if he will or won't be a PG.

In the end I am sure he will play combo and play both positions. I don't see Howland doing something that will hurt the team. Hell, that is what the Newman camp has been bitching about, Howland not putting Malik over the team.

Newman couldnt play the point on the AAU circuit either. He literally just doesnt have that skillet. Not every basketball player can play PG, he's one of them. Dude is much more effective just shooting 3's. He's a SG all day. He's very very similar to Antonio Blakeney, nothing wrong with that.

You can take those stats and shove them up your arse. I watched, and attended, almost every game last year, and I'm guessing you watched 1 maybe 2 of our games last year.

You are the one that has no idea what you are talking about, as per usual. You were the one in all the recruiting threads last year talking out of your arse.

How is the last shot in a game accounted for in a stat book? A missed shot?

How many times did Ready dribble through defenders to take an off balance, triple covered shot in the final seconds of games that we lost? Can you look at your stat sheet and tell me? How many other players were uncovered whenever Ready took those shots? Can you tell me?

You have no idea what you are talking about and you took two stats and think you won an argument. I'm sorry that you are so ignorant of a situation that you think this.

Those are entire season stats and you want to argue a guy who had basically a 1:1 AST:TO ratio is a better PG than the guy who had over twice as many assists AND less turnovers than him.

You realize how retarded you sound?

Nobody cares what you watched. I watched Newman in AAU ball and at MSU too, he's not a PG, end of story. He's never done anything to show he can run an offense effectively all the time while creating for others...and there's nothing bad about that because he can absolutely shoot from outside and there's a place for guys like that with his size - SG.

I see reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, but we both already knew that. You responded to my post saying that IJ should be told to hit the road and my following posts all are talking about Ready. I haven't mentioned Malik once.

Again, sorry for your ignorance.

Yet here you are still talking about Newman.

Are they doing a European tour this summer or not? I thought I heard they are going, but can't find any info.
