Yep. They already have found his replacement, and it should be announced soon.

Could it be because of ...

Malfeasance?

If some of the rumors are true, Mal's going to be resigning from the planet pretty soon.

I hope they're wrong, but whatever's wrong is bad enough for him to travel to Duke to seek treatment.

Coach Mal Moore

Serious question, why do you call him Coach Moore still? I could see if he was the HC, but not for an assistant

WE HAVE HEARD FROM VERY HIGH PLACED SOURCES THAT WISH TO REMAIN ANONYMOUS THAT MAL MOORE IS RESIGNING. HE GOT A CAR FROM GADSDEN AREA REC BOOSTERS WHO ARE INVOLVED IN AN ONGOING FBI INVESTIGATION FOCUSED ON VIDEO-POKER-TRUCKSTOP BRIBERY CASES AND MAKING TENNESSEE BOOSTER'S ASSES QUIT BY FALLING UP STAIRS WHILE PAYING HS FOOTBALL COACHES AND PLAYERS.

EXPECT THE NCAA TO DESCEND ON TUSCALOOSA AND LEAVE SCORCHED EARTH.

Wait...What....What just happened? I just blacked out...

Guy hired Saban. An AD can do no better than that.

Dude's been in the hospital for like the last week. I think he's in pretty bad shape. He's around 74 years old I think.

Because he was a coach?

People still call Frank, "Coach Broyles", he was a HC, but still.

So Ozzie Newsome is coming right? Didn't be say this was the only job he'd leave Baltimore for?

I think "coach" is almost used as term of respect, Moore has been around long enough to earn the honor despite never being the HC.

I read a while back that he had a medical condition. I wondered then how much longer he would be serving in his AD capacity.
