Good for Troy. I wish more SEC schools would play them.

This is absurd. We played there once already and it was a disaster.

They are. Troy has upcoming games with LSU, Mizzou, and old miss, but they are not giving Troy a return game at their place.

as no SEC team should. They should get a $1,000,000 and a L and be done with it. Embarrassing for State, though I imagine these are the kind of games Ole Miss will be scheduling in the near future.

That's because LSU isn't Mississippi State. If you're not a Power 5 school, we're not playing at your place. Get with the program, State.

Good for them. I didn't know that. I can see not going to their place. It's not very big. I wouldn't mind seeing Auburn do a "two for one" one time deal. I'm not sure it would benefit Auburn any, but would still love to see those two play.

Instead of us paying them a million dollars it gives them a chance to potentially sell out their place so I think it's a smart move by both schools.

We are trying to get out front and go ahead and find an easy opponent to replace OM for when they get the death penalty. Maybe not this goaround but surely by 2020 they will not exist anymore as a football team

This is why I wish State was in the SEC East. With their SEC schedule being so much easier they would be able to schedule tougher non conference games.

Always makes me lol when I see SEC teams playing these lower tier schools at their place.

Missouri is playing @UCONN this season and Kentucky is playing @Southern Miss iirc

Because we recruit those states? Same reason we play @ La Tech etc. We've landed recruits like that. Like the 4 Star dual threat LSU wanted etc.

Troy put around 600 yards on them and nearly won the game.

10 years out. We'll probably suck again by then. Wish this was like 2-3 years out.
