Always makes me lol when I see SEC teams playing these lower tier schools at their place.

Missouri is playing @UCONN this season and Kentucky is playing @Southern Miss iirc

And scUM is playing Arkie State where?

Troy put around 600 yards on them and nearly won the game.

To be fair, MSU spanked us the following two games. MSU was up by more than two touchdowns, Troy got it back to within a field goal, and ended up losing by 6. Back in 2012. 2013 the score was 62-7, and 2015 it was 45-17.

What the hell is Mississippi State's problem?

@ Troy
@ South Alabama
@ Southern Miss
@ UMass
@ UAB
@ Houston
@ Louisiana Tech

Did they fricking go to Maine as well for a return trip after the (real) Black Bear beatdown?

Why would any SEC team play at Troy? or La Tech or any other non-power 5 team?

We've landed recruits like that. Like the 4 Star dual threat LSU wanted

Don't you mean the 3-star dual threat that LSU wanted as a tight-end?

If you're going to play these level games, go play at FAU and get your brand exposure in the fertile South Florida recruiting grounds.

We are trying to get out front and go ahead and find an easy opponent to replace OM for when they get the death penalty. Maybe not this goaround but surely by 2020 they will not exist anymore as a football team

Surprise. A state fan deflects to their big brother's NCAA issues to cover their own pathetic program.

No joke. And their new stadium is nice. I went down there in 2010 when Troy played them the last week of the season. It was still in their old stadium. Dad and I used to pick either a Troy or Alabama road game to fly to every year, and we thought south Florida in December would be nice. The stadium was a joke though. Their press box was literally a single wide trailer up on poles above the bleachers.

MSU, you should have at least gotten a 2 home game for 1 road game or 3 for 1. This is just sad.

All of those teams are better than Rutgers.

Good luck MSU, you don't just walk into 30,000 strong Veterans Memorial

This one is a head scratcher
Two for one deal. Yes I can accept that.
We just did that with USM. No quibble with that.

The UMass was Tulane's doing. When they pulled the plug on the 2016 game in 2015, it left State scrambling to fill the slot.

We negotiated a 2-1 deal. Plus we got to play the game there at Gillette Stadium. My wife and I were there. Really cool venue and the trip was well worth it. UMass plays at Starkvegas this year and 2020. So that was win - win for everybody.

The Troy deal 1-1 is just plain stupid in my book. Don't understand this one at all. Dumb and Dumber.
