He's got a point. A lot of Florida fans on the Facebook and the like are calling for Mac's head.

Just doing what will eventually happen next year or in 2 years. Mac wont last at UF.

Getting laughed off the field constantly in "SEC East Champ" years gets old pretty quick

Muschamp would have won the east the last 2 seasons had he stayed as well. Not saying much about McElwain.

When you live in a state with a large population of transplanted Yankees, this is what you get. The other teams in the SEC are populated by fans who multi-generational. The real Florida people are good folk.

This makes sense....are there actually any multi-generational people in Fla.?...I'm asking and I live there.

They have every right to be upset, UF has been garbage the last 2 years with completely terrible offense. 4-5 loss "SEC East title" seasons don't change that. The SEC East has been ridiculously bad the last 2 years. UF got blown off the field their last 3 games last season and this year their last 3 losses have all been pathetic showings.

The best Tennessee team in a long time just lost 4 regular season games for crying out loud (and beat UF, but blew it badly for SECCG). Mac to me is on very thin ice. If he cant show offensive improvement and win improvement in year 3, he should be squarely on the hot seat. He may have only lost 8 games so far in 2 seasons, but he's been laughed off the field in 6 of them. That's not a good look.

Yes, that's how Florida has managed to have a profitable athletic program, because of all the fair weather fans.

That's why Florida has the best athletic department and best sports programs, because of all the fair weather fan support.
Florida has a wonderful athletic dept, no doubt about that. But the support yall have is more ACC level than SEC.

Living in New Orleans, yall dont bring dick for fans to the Sugar Bowl.

Bama will bring more to Atlanta than any SEC team because years ago they got tix and keep renewing them...selling them the few times over the years they arent in the game

I've seen Bama play Florida in the SECCG 6 times. I've never seen that few Florida fans.

Well, we're MORE loyal. We sold out the stadium every home game during 0-21, sweetheart.

(Why does this feel like a feat neither team really wants to think about...)

I'm 7th generation but those of us are few and far between. A lot of the multi-generational families moved here during the population boom of the 50's and 60's.

He's not wrong. Gator fans are the most fair weather fanbase in the SEC and it's not even close.

Tennessee wouldn't know since they haven't experienced fair weather in over a decade.

You can't even identify the issue you stupid frick.

"Four SEC teams averaged more than 100,000 fans per home game in 2016, and football continues to be a major source of revenue for the conference, according to statistics released by the league office.

Overall, seven of the SEC’s 14 schools welcomed an average of at least 86,000 fans per home date, while 10 averaged at least 64,000.

Texas A&M was the biggest draw at home, averaging a league-high 101,917 in its seven contests at Kyle Field, edging second-place Alabama, which averaged 101,821 in seven games at Bryan-Denny Stadium.

LSU (101,231) ranked third with seven dates at Tiger Stadium, while Tennessee stood fourth (100,968) following seven contests at Neyland Stadium."

Tennessee fans don't do fair weather.

Add in 156K for the V-tech game and who has the best attendance in the SEC?
