I think it's the delusion that keeps folks around.

Where were all of the Florida fans yesterday? Alabama probably had at least 70% of the crowd and there were some empty seats on Florida's side.

There were more UF fans there yesterday than I expected to see.

I think it was 2/3 Bama, 1/3 Gators based on the number of empty seats early in the 4th quarter

I know he isn't used to being at UF so he is confused. When he was at Bama they fans were happy because they are winning, when he was at Oregon State, the fans didn't care. Florida doesn't put up with suckitude very well which I happen to think shows tremendous loyalty.

I think Fulmer would have a thing or two to say about that.

The real cause of this is the state of Florida in general. Most FSU and Miami fans are bandwagon, and a whole lot of folks jumped on board during the Urban Liar years as a result of this cultural infection. Its a shame, but the truth is there will never be fan loyalty in our state like there is in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Texas, Tennessee, and anywhere else I forgot in the SEC.

Some truth to this. There are in fact a fair number of people that will be "ardent" fans of at least two of the big schools in Florida, every decade or so.

Let's be honest though: there's nothing else going on in Alabama but watching either Auburn or Alabama.

They could show a replay of the SECCG in the dome come April and thousands of Bama fans would drive there just to watch it.

He's not wrong. Gator fans are the most fair weather fanbase in the SEC and it's not even close.

In the top 5 in the country in fair weather support.

Yes, that's how Florida has managed to have a profitable athletic program, because of all the fair weather fans.

That's why Florida has the best athletic department and best sports programs, because of all the fair weather fan support.

This is some rich commentary coming from a guy with the most epic meltdowns on this board and recently wanted people at UT to be found dead.

Bama will bring more to Atlanta than any SEC team because years ago they got tix and keep renewing them...selling them the few times over the years they arent in the game.

Yeah after your second transfer you should probably avoid calling out other people's loyalty.

I agree completely with his tweet. UF fans have become one of the whiniest fan bases in college football, with the exception of LSU fans. Most of these are younger fans that jumped on the bandwagon in the the 90's and expect UF to win 12 games a year, the SEC championship and the National championship. They run their mouths on this site and others like they are experts on football coaching, recruiting, play calling and spend their time second guessing everything a coach or AD do when they really don't know shite about it. They need to get a life or find another team, they would be great Bama fans since they do win 12 games every year, SEC championships and National championships every year so they would have nothing to beetch about.
