No offense taken at all.
I just happened to be watching Herbstreit (as I'm sure were most of you) when I was reading this thread, hence my comment.

I honestly have zero feeling about this whole deal (e.g., Miles) either way.
I remember we (A&M) caught similar hell--albeit on a smaller scale--when we fired RC Slocum.
Fans were frustrated and wanted more; outsiders thought Slocum deserved better.

Bottom line: Coaching is a job, just like any other; few gigs are permanent.
Is this the right move for LSU?
History will decide.

frick him and the horse he rode in on....

I support LSU, not a coach. If my school thinks is the best change, than so be it...

Get used to the assrape by the media LSU. Nationally, Les Miles what people love about LSU. You let the success Nick Saban and Les brought to you get to your head. That tiger dick gonna get trampled on, bitch.

Alabama fans of all people REALLY have no room to talk. If y'all were 13-10 in the SEC the last 3 years, losing 4 of 6 to Ole Miss and Arky, and were coming off getting hammered 3 straight games y'all would be reacting the exact same way.

and only one power 5 school other than Ohio

Which is why you have more Walmart fans than any team in America not called OSU. And you've decided to let the mouth-breathers run the show, apparently.

Not being clever, what I just posted happens at least 80 times a day especially with your gay arse fan base. Just pointing out what you're doing because it's funny how y'all turn into snippy little queer bitches when someone says something that threatens your baseless SEC rant recycled narrative

Yeah, Rece is one to talk when he always makes fun of Miles. Is this as classless as ESPN reporting Miles to Michigan on the morning of the SECCG years ago when Miles had to hold a press conference to tell everyone that there was no truth to the rumor on the day of the game? I don't like the way it has been handled, but ESPN is one to talk.

. Reese Davis, not Les Miles. I love miles, think he should get another year.

Davis is critical of LSU, screw him, he does not have what is best for LSU in mind.

Straight up said LSU pre Saban is little more than slightly above average.

Yeah, that's the historical norm I referred to in an earlier post. Apparently, a large portion of LSU fans between the age of 25-40 believe LSU should win 12+ games every season because recruits come from LSU.

Alabama fan saying that anyone else has wal mart fans. Go look up wal mart t shirt sales per fan base you stupid gump

But I'll play: why exactly do you think that the fact that we're one of two states with top 5 NFL talent and one P5 school means that we have a lot of Walmart fans? I'm pretty interested to hear your thought process

This.

All of the posters drilled Les and his inability to develop qb's, incoherent statements, and click mismanagement now are saying LSU is making a huge mistake. I don't get it.

So just because LSU doesn't have top 10 historical success it means that we should abandon 10 win seasons and head back to the cellar? Just because of history? You're saying that LSU's football program should rest on its laurels and let the program die because it's how it used to be? Get the frick out of here
