We're the only state with top 3 NFL talent and only one power 5 school other than Ohio. Not to mention our stadium, facilities, wealthy athletic department, and huge fanbase. "Our place" is at the top. We have more resources to be successful than any program other than Ohio State if we have the right coach.

Times change. LSU isn't what it was back then and are trying to step up from being 'good' to being 'great'. May work out, may not depending on the hire but we are on a downward trend with Les.
