LSU is going to frick shite up for everyone and I am all for it. I hope they rape whoever they play and knock the SEC out of the playoffs.

frick Florida. Your narrative bullshite is troll worthy. LSU did everything possible to play. UF moaned and groaned long enough to cancel the game. frick Florida.

Will cost $5-6million. Plus $30M to refund season ticket holders for cost of ticket, taf fees associated with that ticket plus parking passes for a home game cancelled

bullshite, Raleigh, NC and Columbia, SC were hit much harder than Gainesville. NC State and Notre Dame played through a monsoon. UGA and SC play today. You do realize the state of Florida was not the only state affected by the Hurricane right?

You do realize that when the decision had to be made (Thursday) the hurricane was going to hit Florida pretty hard?

You can't just uncancel the game the day before when it turned out the hurricane moved more East.

Also, the issue was never how hard it was going to hit Gainesville. This is why Foley thought until Thursday that the game could be played in Gainesville. The issue is about the surrounding area that needed the police and emergency responders. They wouldn't be able to work the game, and we were not going to play in an empty stadium like your retard AD suggested.

No you dumbass, the decision should have been made earlier (tuesday or Wednesday even) but the SEC commish got bullied by your AD.

The decision only had to be made Thursday because they stonewalled and pushed it back as far as possible.

Foley didn't want this game to happen. He's a retiring AD who decided to swing his dick around, making a bet that a new commissioner wouldn't do shite.

He was right.

You realize it was also going to, and did, hit NC and SC too right? Again, the state of Florida was not the only state in the projected path of the hurricane yet other ADs were much more pragmatic than was Foley

We kept telling you to have a contingency plan and you were either too stupid or too scared to do so. Because of UForfeit's negligence, the only way the game will get played is if other teams sacrifice.

The burden rests with UForfeit, the host team. They failed and should be the only team to suffer. UForfeit should be charged with a loss and a forfeit.

Nov 19 is a freaking joke! Why should a community who actually is recovering from a real disaster take the huge financial hit to their community for something that was not THEIR fault, but was the fault of UForfeit, Foley and Sankey.

Florida didn't forfeit. The SEC postponed the game.

LSU is scared to play the game November 19th because they don't want to play three straight road games.

The game not being played is the fault of the SEC, not Florida. And because of the SEC, Florida will only have 7 SEC games and could have an advantage in their chase for Atlanta.

That's a terrible look for the SEC. You'll hear Tennessee fans raise hell if that happens. And rightfully so. LSU fans need to relax though. They got bigger problems in front of them. Like Ole Miss, Alabama, Arkansas, maybe Florida, and Texas A&M. That's what y'all should be worried about.

Are we talking about your broke athletic department? Or are you pulling the Katrina card here?

Because the scared theory is an absolute joke.

The SEC dropped the ball on this decision. Period.

Florida has no reason to be scared of LSU, and vice versa. Both teams are average to slightly above average. There's no reason for either side to be scared because both teams could win this game just as easily as they could lose it.

No, playing three SEC road games in 12 days is a real player safety issue. Plus, in no reasonable world should LSU have to give up a home game because Florida dragged their feet.

frick you.

Want to know where Tennessee's team and fans stayed for our Monday night game in 2005, following Katrina??? They came in played and left because there were no hotel rooms. I never heard any of them bitching like the Gaytards are.

You might get away with these excuses with people who haven't actually lived in a disaster area. But we have been here and have done what was needed at the time to get the game played.

You idiots should be embarrassed at how cheap and cowardly and corrupt your administration has been during this process. Had you moved the game to LSU our whole community would have been extremely supportive and welcoming to all of you. It's what we do, typically in this conference after disasters. We help each other and support each other. But, after this, I have absolutely no compassion for any of you UForfeit supporters who side with your Administration on this issue.

then call it gaining a competitive advantage by willful refusal to agree to a contingency plan. Florida could have easily lost the game but they could 100% assure themselves of avoiding a loss by not playing at all. And if Tennessee loses to Alabama, as most expect, Florida will have gained a game on Tennessee by not playing.

Even if they did offer the 19th, which no one who was a part of the conference call has confirmed (Alleva has refuted), that would be nothing more than making LSU an offer that Foley knows LSU would not accept (nor should they) so he can save face and say he "tried."

So angry. It's awesome.

We don't want sympathy. This is bigger than a game, and Florida can handle their business. The state got lucky that the storm took a dramatic turn eastward at the last second. My condo in St. Augustine had damage and my family in Jacksonville and St Augustine certainly felt the effects with property damage, but all in all we got lucky. We don't need sympathy or support from Louisiana. The game in Gainesville could've and should've been played as scheduled. The SEC screwed up.

LSU wanted to play this weekend. Florida, whatever the reasons, didn't. The game didn't get played.

It's really pretty simple here.
