Our class had 7 five stars. We're not pissed about missing on anyone.

What happened to Raheem Falkins? We were told he was going to take over that role and hopefully be a 4th rd draft pick one day. Hopefully both Raheem and Cam Sims will have more productive careers than Kenny Bell.

Falkins is a tall, lanky WR. Probably not as athletic as Cam Sims.

Cam Sims already has good size on his 6'4" frame and is probably more athletic than Falkins.

I see, so Raheem Falkins is the new Kenny Bell and Cam Sims is the new Kevin Norwood.

Kenny Bell had 66 and Kevin Norwood had 81 career
receptions. Jarvis Landry had 77 and Odell Beckham had 59 this past year.

I'd say Malachi is a bright young man. Cam Sims might catch 19-20 balls a year if he is lucky. Time will tell.

They wont need to. Bama has not learned to shut down the option and LSU will have the most lethal option out there come Nov...

Tell Nick to start up the wind sprints. Them fat boys don't wanna have to run LF down from behind

No. Bell was a 6 foot tall deep threat...that was it. Bad hands, not a good route runner.

Falkins is a 6'4" possession WR. Good hands, we haven't seen him play to determine his ability to run routes.

Way too many.

Kevin Norwood had 81

Not enough.

What...what does that have to do...with anything we're talking about?

I would too.

I don't know. Cooper is a first round receiver, he has to get his. White has the talent, but has never put it together, but we can only assume he'll catch a lot of balls. Then we have Christion Jones who is a big part of the offense from the slot. Hopefully he quits dancing on the short throws. Of course then there is future first round TE OJ Howard.

So yeah, no, Cam Sims probably won't catch more than 10 balls at the most. Which would make him the third leading receiver (Hill was a RB) on LSU's offense last year. And at best he'll be our fifth option. That's not even considering Chris Black or RBs.

I'm pretty confident than Landon Collins, Tony Brown, Marlon Humphrey, and Bradley Sylve can run LF down from behind.

My concern is actually bringing him down.

Not if they are on the ground!

I have to say that thought conjures up a mental image of George Teague...

I'm fairly confident than LF could truck our Nose Guard.

That's not good for us.

What I was referring to is LSU' OL. We only lost one guy and should be stacked this year which tells me we gonna run the ball until we figure out this years passing game. No telling what we will be running for offense by Nov but I am sure Cam will have something up his sleeve. Just hope we have another undefeated matchup in our newly expanded TS!

Come on down!

Hmmmmmm...The thread is about Malachi Dupre and one of your comrades brought Cam Sims into the discussion. Bama guys love to bring up Kevin Norwood and how he owned LSU and predict that Cam Sims will do the same. I was simply pointing out that Kevin Norwood had a very average career if you really look at his production. The career numbers for Jarvis and Odell were just a reminder of why the great Kevin Norwood had to watch both of these get picked in the 1st and 2nd round of the NFL draft and will sign for millions more in guaranteed money.

LSU fans were told we would be sorry for losing Kenny Bell, Raheem Falkins and Cam Sims. I don't think any of them will surpass the production or get picked as high as Jarvis and Odell. I would be willing to bet the rent money that Malachi will have more career receptions than all three of these combined. I hope this is simple enough for you to understand.

1000 yard seasons his sophomore and junior year. Cam will let Harris loose in 2015.
