No you wouldn't. You and others would bitch forever about how unfair it is and only Bama could go to playoffs without winning division.

Thanks for your concern.
horseshite! Y'all would bitch for years on end. Hell, some of you still gripe 5 years after the fact that Bama won the NC and didn't win the conference in '11.

They beat four ranked opponents plus the #1 team, they go. The CFP isn't going to leave the SEC out especially when the Big12 is underperforming

An undefeated / 1 loss Big 12 team would go.

Yes LSU would jump us if they win out even if Bama is 11-1. The rest of the country is tired of Bama winning NC's and being in the playoffs every year. An 11-2 SEC Champ LSU goes over an 11-1 Bama. I guess you can just chalk it up to Bama fatigue.

Sorry brah no matter how much you hate LSU if they win out by beating bama, and the sec-ship they are in the cfp. Especially as their loses are just looking better as the season progresses.

Both go and we would be the higher ranked team.
Like this:
1) Big 10 Champ (0-1 loss)
2) Bama
3) ACC Champ (if 0 loss)
4) 2 loss LSU, or 0 loss UW

This isn't 2011. It's playoff now

The rest of the country doesn't vote. The committee does and it wants the 4 best teams. If it's a close game in BR and Bama wins out beating the shite out of a 2 loss AU then Bama will be the only non-conference champ to go and there's a good chance we would be higher ranked over a 2 loss SECC.

Thanks for the concern.

And I am glad the fear is not showing.

Bama would be given a do-over, just like 2011. I always assume the worst when it comes to the NCAA doing the right thing.

Neither the 2011 game nor this scenario would have anything to do with the NCAA.

The losses were early, they were on the road, they were against pretty good teams, and they were under another head coach. I think the committee would treat the post miles era as a new season so to speak. Certainly the losses would be considered, but for LSU to win out, they would have to beat possibly 2 top 10 teams.

Bama will make any 4 team playoff. It's why they went to 4. 2011 was too much pressure to justify giving Bama a shot.
