Not possible. Even with an SEC Championship. The committee would agree that 1 loss /= 2 losses.

After the Auburn game, I'd settle for SEC Champs and a win in a New Year's Six game. We'd be okay.

Thanks for your concern.

Nah, I think they would in all honesty.

They'd get benefit of the doubt with a new coach. This isn't computers, it's people.

That being said, it will be extremely hard for LSU to get through Alabama/Florida/ATM without a loss. Then possibly playing Tennessee in the champ game.

And you can't punish Saban for LSU's FUBAR.

The conference champions go to the CFP. It's not a difficult concept to grasp.

This goes against the narrative that winning your conference matters.

Bama is the only real test out of these teams. Texas A&M will always be LSU's bitch

That said, ATM is a good football team. Auburn found that out the hard way.

Yeah, but they would also agree LSU > Bama if we beat them.

Wanna bet?

I don't think LSU will win out, FWIW

But make no mistake... 4 conference champs will be in the playoff. A team that doesn't win its conference will not be seriously considered.

Absolutely disagree. They win out and they have a great chance.

They beat four ranked opponents plus the #1 team, they go. The CFP isn't going to leave the SEC out especially when the Big12 is underperforming

I have no problem with being the SEC champions. It's not like we haven't lost 2 games already. Besides I personally would love to watch the country melt over alabama losing the SEC but winning the championship again.
