No it doesnt but you probably dont have the all the facts.
I have to admit though, if the shoe was on the other fit i'd give about zero fricks that LSU was told they cant perform at halftime.

Seriously, The Texas Aggie band is the greatest halftime show on earth. That is unbelievably small of LSU.

I think it's a shame that the Aggy Band won't be playing at Tiger Stadium. One of the best parts of the old rivalry between LSU and A&M was that Aggy brought all their traditions to campus, including the band, and we booed them and hated on them the whole time... but we respected them.
After the game, all the A&M and LSU students would go party together and we had a good time.
It's a shame we can't have games with that kind of spirit anymore, apparently.

A&M flexed too much when we stole Chavis. The womanly pettiness of the LSU Fan base has been as surprising as it has enduring. LSU may never recover.

You people are the chief antagonists in this deal. LSU's history with rivalries shows that we really don't need or want a rival.
Past rivals like Tulane and Ole Miss couldn't maintain the level of competition to continue the rivalry. Texas A&M is right there in that same group.
