I don't know, maybe because even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then.

Have to have the confidence. Mean frick, why would I pay > $10k every season if I thought we were going 0-12? Wait, don't answer that.....think I was paying not that much but probably about $3k for Hallman's 2-9 season

5 SEC road games is awesome this season. It is all about the road games. Only thing the road schedule could have been better was with a trip to Lexington, but a November trip to Knoxville (the trip, not a seat in their crappy stadium) will be fun.

Then why wasn't he a Broyles Award finalist like Pruitt? That seems to be a major part of the argument for Canada.
Dave Aranda has proven several times over that he can do more with less. He took a roster full of 2 and 3 star players at Wisconsin and turned them into a top 5 defense nationally. Matt Canada vastly improved Pitt's offense in his first season as Offensive Coordinator. He was doing more with less as well. Do you see a trend here? It's irrational to use the Broyles Award finalist as your measuring stick to determine the better defensive coordinator between Aranda & Pruitt. Try being objective here b/c you know the type of players Bama has on defense.

Pruitt is a fine coordinator but he's benefited greatly from the high-level elite talent that suits up for the Seminoles and Crimson Tide. At this time the body of work from Aranda is more impressive than Pruitt.

We've always had the talent. Now we are just looking looking for a major change in our offensive philosophy. That has been the one thing keeping us back. My honest expectations of next year are 9 to 10 wins but to see a drastic improvement on offense. I'd be happy with that. If those improvements happen, I expect to win the SEC the following year.

I don't think that's too much to expect. As I said, LSU is not hurting for talent.

Auburn made your OL look like trash too and we aren't Bama DL good. Lucky that Guice/LF could make a couple plays to make you competitive I'd seriously worry about that.

I do worry about the Oline, but I have hope that a new offensive philosophy can mask any problem areas on the Oline well enough to win some of the big games.

Bc Jalen Hurts is still at Alabama

This can't be upvoted enough. Hurts would not be a starter at any other SEC school. He's fricking terrible. He can run. That's all he can do.

Our outlook is better than the shite show that is UF.

"Good RB"? Are you kidding me? He is the best in the SEC coming back. I agree about our OLine and us losing a lot of players, but every team loses players every year. They always reload. LSU is no different.

Our QB isn't great but Canada will get the most out of him that he can. We dominated you guys in every facet of the game. We just didn't close. Don't expect us not finishing next year.

You are ignorant. I'd take him over Etling. Sure he isn't very accurate but he can make other plays. Etling is Manning (both of em) , Marino, Brady, etc athletically. He is standing in a bucket of concrete.

I wouldn't use hyperbole to try and get your points across. It makes you look dumb as frick.

As you said I think most are just optimistic. If a few are confident then that makes us pretty much like every other fan base.

I'd be happy with 10-2 or even 9-3 with a decent bowl showing. I'm not going to pick LSU any better until they show that they can win the games they should and win a couple against Alabama. If we continue to drop one to Arkansas, Ole Miss, Auburn every season then I'll be fairly disappointed.
