LSU lost to arkansas why does that guarantee LSU lose to ohio. youre a fricking moron.

lol you dont know how many times ive heard LSU fans flip flop blah blah blah blah blah... fact of the matter is that we beat a team that you guys couldnt.

STFU, what in the hell have YOU been drinking??? Bama maybe, but LSU??? Please think prior to typing on your keyboard! Should Arkansas have won? Yes, we should have. Is Arkansas the first SEC team to ever lose a game they shouldn't have? HELL NO!!!

And LSU was 2 blown coverages from beating Arkansas on the road too. Fact of the matter is Les Miles at 5-1 (2-0 in BCS games) and 35.8 ppg is a MUCH better bowl coach than the offensive genius Petrino who is 3-3 (1-1 in BCS games) and 27.6 ppg - including a loss to a MAC opponent.

I can accept it. I believe LSU would have beaten OhSt. Bama too. We looked awestruck in the first half which I suppose was understandable.

But, fact remains LSU did not earn the right to have the shot. Deal with it.

You guys would have scored maybe 10 points on their defense, and Duel Thread QB's burned LSU all year. I don't see anyway you can say LSU probably wouldn't have won.

Cam Newton only only scored 24...I wouldnt say we got burned especially since we lost to only one dual threat

lol...well, that's about their limit....and one of those scores will be from special teams....but seriously, if our star struck receivers would have just caught half their drops we win by 8-10 points....mallett's last pass may have been a bad one, but there were plenty of others right on the money for 1st downs and scores

Ok, it was still a funny comment.

Not at all genius. Programs that win championships have higher expectations and don't revel in moral victories. We leave that to teams like Arkansas since they haven't won a conference championship since the 80's. I think LSU's last moral victory was over #1 Florida in 1997. 2 BCS championships later, there are no moral victories for our program. The counterpoint I was trying to make was to some idiot that thinks that LSU could not beat Ohio State since Arkansas, who beat could not beat OSU.

Joe Adams catches the first pass of the game and we win by 14+ points. Totally different game.

I'm sure if given the opportunity, LSU or Bama would have finished ahead of Arkansas in the SEC so that they could have played tOSU. It's not fair that Arkansas was just given the opportunity to play in the Sugar Bowl. We all know that if we played a regular season of SEC football, LSU and Bama would have finished ahead of Arkansas and would have represented the SEC instead.

The butthurt is strong in this thread.

Oh, we've been over it since January 7th. Still trying to figure out what was more enjoyable....putting an arse whipping on Texas A&M or watching the bad breaks go against the Piggies just one game after they all went your way. Any way, we'll be enjoying yet another bowl game blowout for the next 8 months while you guys can keep playing that Mallet interception on 2nd down in red zone in your mind over and over and over.....

Not at all. I think most LSU fans will tell you they were very happy with an 11-win season with 2 losses to very good SEC opponents by a combined 15 points considering we did it without any semblance of a QB.

Yet you still create threads about "woulda" scenarios, and use the "woulda" scenarios to make yourselves feel better about the season.

I wouldn't trade Arkansas's second place finish in the SEC (behind only cheAUters) and trip to the Sugar Bowl for a trip to the Cotton Bowl (we win that game every year during the regular season) or a 4th place finish in the West.

Of course I wish we would have beat tOSU. But losing to tOSU by 5 is nothing to be ashamed of, and LSU and Bama fans can't claim anything over tOSU for the '10 season b/c LSU and Bama couldn't even earn a ticket to the game. Just sayin.

By 3 TD's..... Truth.

LSU beat North Carolina by 6
LSU beat Vanderbilt by 24
LSU beat Mississippi State by 22
LSU beat West Virginia by 6
LSU beat Tennessee by 2
LSU beat Florida by 4
LSU beat McNeese State by 22
LSU lost to Auburn by only 7
LSU beat Alabama by 3
LSU beat Monroe by 51
LSU beat Ole Miss by 7

LSU lost to Arkansas by only 8, because there's no way Arkansas could have scored again, and with the exception of a couple of plays, LSU should have won by 2

LSU beat Texas A&M by 17 (in a bowl)

Now I see.
