What are their chances against the #3 team in the country at home?
Ask Ole Miss.
We back, bitches. LSU by 10
Will LSU even score 10?

Bama better hope that OM and FSU lose or they drop or else they are fricked. Numbers never lie

We are a young team that will stumble from time to time, but we have a very bright future ahead.

It's hard not to be impressed by what LSU has done on in their last 3 SEC games. LSU's games against Florida and Kentucky surprised me, and I was not surprised that Ole Miss beat LSU.
Despite the progress that it appears LSU has made, there are still two major unanswered questions.
1. Can LSU hold up against a power running game?
2. Does LSU have a quarterback?
Florida, Kentucky, and Ole Miss do not have great running games that pose a threat to LSU.
Florida and Ole Miss' offenses are shaky as well.
I didn't watch last night's game, but I read the recap and box score, and I get the feeling that it was just a sloppy game.
How would LSU fare versus a healthy Georgia rushing attack or Arkansas? Those two teams can run the football and slow down the run. I didn't include Alabama in this list because I'm not sold on Alabama's offense this season, especially on the road.
Good luck LSU. Keep up the good work, hopefully not against my Crimson Tide.

LSU suffered a beat down against both. I don't think it tells us much, though they should be worried about the fact that they don't match up well against Alabama.

LSU kicked OM's arse and also out coached OM. Congratulations Tigers.

I can tell you I expect this to be one of the ugliest offensive games in the sec. We look great at home but pedestrian on the road. Our best OL out with high ankle sprain. I give the eye to LSU

Defense is growing up. Offense is very suspect. Will have trouble overcoming double digit deficits

Alabama is gonna be a tough matchup. It's going to come down to getting Sims rattled. He's literally a whiney bitch and if things don't go his way.. it's gonna be a fun melt.
If Cooper is allowed to do his thing.. very long night.

I never like Saban having 2 weeks to prepare. Our offense isn't hard to figure out. Hopefully our defense shines again.

What is there to figure out? We're going to run between the tackles 50% of the time. Off tackle 30% of the time. Play action 10% of the time. 3 step drop to an out route the rest of the plays
It all comes down the OL. If they can be successful blocking on zone and man schemes.. we have a great chance. Jennings has to show up period.

LSU offensive line and defense have greatly improved in a couple of weeks. Still serious issues at QB. They can win or lose every game on the remaining schedule and neither would shock me.

Yeah, I feel the same way. If the D that showed against Ole Miss and UK shows up, I feel LSU can play with anyone. LSU had 9 tackles for a loss last night and 12 pass breakups. That is pretty incredible. To have 4 turnovers and hold a team to 7 points is extremely hard to do.

It's like people forget we had a hail mary at the end of the MSU game to WIN it. Sure, they dominated the first 3 quarters, but in true Les Miles fashion, we mounted a big comeback and put ourselves in a position to win the game and just couldn't make a play on the last throw.
Also, since then we've made 2 pivotal defensive changes. Jamal Adams has been excellent in our secondary and has come into his own as well as finally benching the worst MLB in the SEC in DJ Welter in favor of Kendell Beckwith who has been in beast mode the last 3 weeks.
Alabama has looked, beatable. Let's examine their 3 SEC road games:
- They let Tennessee's 3rd string QB and a struggling offense throw up 20 on them and almost make a game out of it after being up by 4 scores
- They needed a missed XP from a team who has lost 16 straight SEC games to not go into OT with
- Their only loss to a team we just beat
Now Alabama has looked dominant at home, but for some reason this hasn't translated on the road at all.

Bama is the most dominant franchise in NCAA history. LSU has absolutely no chance against such a juggernaut of talent coached by a man that even Gen. George S Patton would bow down to. Even Chuck Norris is skurred of Alabama football!

Even if the playcalls were more varied, the main matchup is LSU's newfound running game versus Alabama's rushing defense, which is strength against strength. For LSU, Jennings will need to beat Alabama with his arm. For Alabama, the O-line needs to control the line of scrimmage and establish a running game.

I don't see how anybody can be confident in predicting LSU vs Bama
I think Lane has done a good job getting the ball to Cooper and his playmakers. The Bama defense is still good/ not great but they don't need to be great against LSU. My Tigers are incredibly talented but are full of youth. I believe both teams can run the ball on the other but give edge to Bama in passing game. We get a crack at Bama at 7pm in Death Valley and that means something. Should be an incredible game with Bama trying to make it to Miss St with only one loss.
