While LSU has improved a lot, so has Bama since their loss. I don't think we can use our respective games against ole miss to argue anything. I do think it will be a war though just because our guys and fans will turn it up several notches for bama as they always do.

We can't make the same mistakes we made against Ole Miss and expect to win against Bama. Pissed away two scoring opportunities.

I am still worried by how one dimensional we are on offense. Ground and pound worked against Ole Miss but Bama is far better offensively.

We need to be at least +2 in the turnover differential to have a legit shot.

It tells us that LSU is loaded with talent but struggled both with scheme/execution and personnel early in the season, but are extremely well-coached and improving as they go along. Youth is unpredictable-so there are likely peaks and valleys ahead in 2014.

If this very young LSU team beats Fla, Ken, #3 Ole Miss, #3 Ala, Ark and the Aggies, it will have been one of the greatest coaching fetes of all time. Mad Hatter will have no equal.

And still not as good as his coaching job in 2005.

Will be hard to win against Alabama.

A) They are better than Ole Miss.
B) It's not as good of a matchup for us like Ole Miss was.

Beating Bama is always hard to do. But Ole Miss has been a better team than Bama. 1) They beat them head to head even with terrible refs that basically gave Bama 7 before half 2) They have been more consistent (see Arkansas + FLorida games)

Ole Miss was a better matchup for us, but LSU's D is looking completely different now. Also, we may be able to get Dural open for some longer passes like he usually catches because Bama has had issues in the secondary this year that Ole Miss hasn't had. It should be a very good game.

Ole Miss can't run the football.

They're going to get beat a couple more times this year.

Alabama can hit us where it hurts, which is running the football in between the tackles. They're a better team than Ole Miss, IMO, and we'll see that in 2 weeks.

We'll need our best effort.

Alabama actually hasn't run the football between the tackles well at all. And it looks like CRob will be out. Blakesiah and Coop will have to win this game.
