Stupid post is stupid. We offered to play Saturday /Sunday/ Monday in either location.

How that results in us not wanting to play the game is beyond reason or logic.

Florida made the wrong choice guessing the path and effect of a large hurricane. LSU is now acting as a petulent, spiteful victim instead of working to find the best solution for the current problem.

So, the post I responded to, calling it a boat load of stupid, blaming LSU for the game being postponed in the first place was, indeed, a boat load of stupid?

Thanks for clearing that up.

What a mental midget....laughing here. You start a thread and have nothing to argue or discuss? Damn, I will have to admit that the Bama fans were correct about you Auburn fans

I thank God every day I'm an LSU fan and not an Auburn fan, otherwise I would suffer from mental retardation for my entire life like poor PearlJam is.

I'm discussing the LSU AD's interest in his own personal pr, focusing on playing the part of the victim and avoiding being part of the solution. Have you not been paying attention?

Sure I am paying attention and still waiting for you to present your argument that supports the above mentioned issues you believe to be present.

We're not taking a multi-million dollar loss because of Florida's incompetence. They can kick rocks

A trip to Atlanta is worth more for the University if not for the Baton Rouge street vendors. I would like to see LSU beat Alabama then have to go crawling to SEC and Florida administrators begging to reschedule that game. Hopefully Florida would give LSU the middle finger and LSU loses out on a trip to the SECCG in favor of Alabama because you played fewer conference games. 7-1 > 6-1.

No Florida made the wrong choice in not having a plan to play the game that last weekend then expecting LSU to accommodate them to the detriment of LSU.

Moar threads

Alleva has rustled the SEC so hard.

Seriously. Alleva has never had so much win. This is unparalleled. Even the LSU fans (who despise him more than anything) are giving him credit.

Your AD continues to make public statements, drawing lines in the sand, designed to paint LSU as a victim to two headed UF and the SEC bully that he is taking a stand against. He also is clearly more interested in this narrative than finding an actual solution to playing a football game that got postponed.

Not coincidentally, his job security isn't the best and his actions are likely about self preservation.

You can disagree, but his actions and words seem to support my take.

This confirms my point.

I didn't say you were the only ones in the wrong. You had the chance to be the ones that were right and rose above the others. Victimization is easier though.

Why the frick do you even care?

This has nothing at all to do with Auburn. Alleva wasn't talking to you.

He is ensuring that the solution doesn't put LSU at a disadvantage on other games to be played. As he should.

It's interesting how little many LSU fans know about the 2005 rescheduled LSU-UT game

Probably to every LSU's fan defense, we had a lot going on back then. This LSU fan does remember that our home/season opener v. North Texas was moved until laster in the season and our 2nd game v. Arizona State was moved to Tempe due to Katrina. I also remember that we agreed to move our next game v. Tennessee (which was also a home game) to Monday due to Rita. I also remember that Fullmer did not want to fly into Baton Rouge to play the game Saturday and threatened to forfeit. We were preparing for a game on Saturday or Sunday and that Slive (who actually has sack of balls hanging between his legs) made the decision to move that game after discussing it with both sides.

Guy that likes to use the laughing emoticon in every post, this is my point, Sankey was not prepared to make a decision even though his predecessor had already paved this path. He was unwilling to make such a "tough" decision as to move that game 1-2 days. UGA/USCe had no problem. :insert laughing emoticon here:
