I've been to all of the big ones in the SEC except UGA, aTm, and SC. I haven't personally experienced a stadium louder than some of the games I've been to at BDS.

I was at LSU in 08, AU in 09, UF in 11, and UT every other year since 08. None were as loud as a few of the games I've been to in BDS.

05 Bama/UF is easily the loudest game I've been to.

I'm not sure if you are just a homer or trolling, but I'll answer your question.

The loudest games of the past decade or so have been 2003 UGA, 2007 UF, and 2012 Bama.

The Bama players have said nothing is louder than TS. Marcel Dareus said after the renovations of BDS that they were hoping to get where BDS was close to TS. We make more noise when TGBFTL takes the field than when yall score a TD.

I been to Florida and it was not real loud. I have been to LSU 10+ times and it is special. BDS was not overly impressive noise wise either. Just let us have our damn cowbells and we will try to keep up

No offense to Miss State and this will sound condescending as heck but most SEC teams hosting MSU aren't going to be loud because there is never anything on the line. The ONE time Alabama hosted MSU with something on the line for both teams (SEC West title for the winner) in 1999 BDS was loud as frick. MSU players and coaches seemed suprised they had so much trouble with crowd noise that game as they were use to a pedestrian atmosphere at BDS when they'd visit. Not so that game as MSU was the main thing standing in Alabama's way to Atlanta at the end of that season.

I don't think he's trying to say that LSU isn't MUCH louder. He's only arguing that on rare occasions (2005 Florida, 2003 Oklahoma, 2002 Georgia, end of 2007 Georgia, and a couple of other games) that BDS is every bit as loud as any stadium in the country. No question at all that Tiger Stadium is way louder way more often but those rare games when BDS brings it the place is amazing and way way underrated noise wise. 2005 Florida was off the charts which is why it's so frustrating that we rarely bring it like that the way LSU, A&M, Florida, and Auburn fans do.

From someone who has played in just about every SEC stadium...

TS is by far the loudest (of course I'm biased)

Then it's Jordan Hare and everyone else is not even close.

Most overrated...Neyland, the Swamp (although the Swamp gets honorable mention for the female bikini wearing students who would flash us on the sideline...before they moved the student section)

I did play at aTm, but it was a 11:30 ABC game in Aug when good ole astroturf was still down and my God, it was already 120 at kickoff. We just wanted to get the f&*^ out of there alive, didn't pay much attention to the crowd.

hat LSU game last year was insanely loud for a day game.

I've never been to a game where our fans were louder. Was really impressive
I was there and for some reason I don't remember the crowd being louder than usual, or louder than what I've heard there before. I've been to about a dozen games there and all of them can be pretty loud but not louder than T.S., imho.

Look, not everyone has had a subscription to Texas Farm Quarterly for 30+ years. People outside of the state Texas just aren't that familiar with A&M.

Typical NCAA. Punishes State for making too much noise while celebrating LSU for making the most noise

Not really this so much as unfamiliar with A&M prior to the SEC move I would guess. A&M has consistently been on loudest/best stadium environment lists since the '80s.

The big difference A&M has is 31k student seats, including the entire 2nd and 3rd decks of one side of the stadium. 18-22 year olds that are standing and yelling will always be the loudest part of any group of fans and putting a ton of them in a prime location will make the field loud as hell.

A lot of folks have come to Kyle though and thought the noise wasn't impressive. Part of this is the visitor seating is currently not facing the students and away from the field, often facing air or just a few seats. Decibel wise A&M also doesn't do well because the acoustics aren't good for trapping sound, though it does project on to the field. When you have a team like Bama that is used to noise having multiple false starts and talking about the noise that says something.

The new Kyle though is fixing all the problems. Students still will be the entire 2nd and 3rd Deck but also a portion will be in the EZ corner where the opposing team enters (currently it is visitors). The stadium will be enclosed and the corners will be bowled in to trap the sound and improve visibility. They will also put covers over both the East and West Decks that will project and trap sound.

Book it now, the TDay night game at Kyle with LSU next year with 109k may be the loudest any college stadium has ever been. It will still be loud in following years with 102,500 but next year will be something special.
