Have there been any noticeable changes in the actual playcalling or just better execution?

Just a willingness to run more diverse plays other than fournette left, fournette right, Harris throw ball into the ground. Punt.

The defense is playing better and they seem to enjoy not being on the field the whole game

The biggest change to me has been the increase in morale, and it seems to be showing on the field. Also we've clearly gotten more creative on offense which helps big time.
It's still quite hard to gauge how we match up in the grand scheme of things being we still have so many quality opponents left. I guess time will tell.

They will not move the ball on us. Our defense is too smarting for them. But they are better with Miles gone! Top 15!

Opening up the run with the pass.
Around 60% for 200 yards the last few games.
Seems like 50% for 100 yards has been a "good" game since mettenburger left

I don't think our Oline can get us there this year. They are too shaky for me to think that they can neutralize the Bama dline enough to score enough points. We will need to score in the 20s to have a chance and it will be very tough to do so.
That being said, we have a puncher's chance with the current coaching regime as opposed to a recent, Miles regime.

Both, IMO.
The offense is actually functional. I also think we make an intentional effort to take advantage of mismatches which was an afterthought previously.

You can definitely feel a more aggressive nature on offense and commitment to spreading the ball around and making the defense defend the entire field. More of a "sense of urgency" on offense than under Miles.
Defense is really good and getting better, but the most drastic "changes" appear to be a competent offense that finds ways to move the ball and finds a number of different ways to do so.
There's also a renewed sense of excitement and energy, not just with the fans but the players as well.
From the outside, I could see where one would think" Dumpster fire" having fired the coach and changed QBs, but from the inside it feels like a sleeping giant has been woken.

I feel at least a little optimism now.
That's worth something.
Plus, the games are enjoyable to watch again.
Honestly, LSU will have to be lights out and Bama will have to make major mistakes.

Both. Ensminger is calling plays based on situations, regardless of personnel, so we're less predictable. Etling is getting a lot more guys involved. OL is coming together after a lot of bagging injuries.
Defensively, Aranda is making GREAT halftime adjustments.
Coach O wants to score on every drive. It's a lot more fun to watch, that's for sure.

I think that's a pretty fair assessment. With 2-3 NFL talent receivers and a generational talent at RB, LSU has a lot of firepower for home run strikes. However, Saban's defenses have been the graveyard where pro style offenses go to die and LF7 has had two below averages outings against Alabama to date.
