Bama got blasted for paying Saban $4 million and he had won a national title.

But what does that have to do with anything? You're not making any sense. Just spraying your vaginal blood about aimlessly

Seems smart. Pluck a 2nd year coach from Houston and pay him more than the guy with 5 championships.

There's no time for that kind of second guessing and consideration. Look how scared everyone is!

So.... Herman is better than the GOAT and we should be scared? What's your point you salty frick?

Saban has fewer years ahead of him than behind him. I would think maybe like 5 years or so left until he catches the Bear? And Saban flew Herman down to learn from him after he blew his arse out a couple years ago.

We haven't hired him yet, but if this talk from yall continues if we do, it's whistling past the grave yard, especially from Bama's point of view. Enjoy the machismo while you can though.

My point was Saban was a proven winning big time college head football coach. Tom Herman is in his 2nd season as a head coach. Nobody knows how successful he will be at this level.

If they make the Big 12 following this season, I don't think he leaves, supposedly getting them into a Power 5 conference gets him one hell of an escalator.

Brandon Harris has the best arm on the best team.

Leonard is a shoe in for the Heisman trophy.

18 returning starters. SEC fricked.

Amanda is the best defensive mind in football.

Guice is the 2d best back in America.

L5U fired Miles. Everyone on the rant scared.

Tom Herman to L5U.

You guys do this to yourselves.

LSU, if you're going to pay that kind of jack, it better be Petrino or maybe Briles. Herman may turn into a top notch coach one day, but there's just no way to tell how he would do in the pressure cooker of the SECw year in and out. Plus he's still really young.

By the way, LSU is not a guaranteed win type of job. Look at Curly Hallman. The talent has always been there, but some coaches just can't get it done regardless.

Only by bidding him for Houston on their long term deal.

We need to land the right OC if Ed gets HC.

Clearly you see that TAF is on very stable financial grounds and can afford to hire whatever coach it wants

According to the TAF financials, they have $196 million in total, net assets (gross revenue/assets minus liabilities). They list $228 million in gross assets as property and equipment, so on paper this is a completely cash-poor operation.

Are you going to pay the new coach in ownership stakes in that dump of a stadium?

Tell us more about how LSU can't afford a new coach when we have (had) the highest paid staff in the country.

You're lost, this isn't texags.

I won't melt. He's only been a HC for 1 1/2 years. He's not proven that he can sustain his success over a long period of time. He very well could but it hasn't been proven.
