Yup, when USCw outbids them LSU will have made him the top paid coach by giving his agent something to bid against.

No way Herman leaves Houston to go to a job where the measure of success is whether you beat Saban.

Why not go to USCw and have a nest on the ground?

LSU is a very good coaching job, but LSU has hurt their prospects by not giving Miles the opportunity to coach the entire season.

In fact, Orgeron may not be a bad choice for permanent Head Coach.

LSU is going to pay Herman $7-$8 million a season? That is a lot of money for a coach who hasn't coached in big time college football yet. Bama got blasted for paying Saban $4 million and he had won a national title.

So, we suck because winning the SEC depends on this?

No wonder A&M always sucks

Honestly, that seems like a very stupid thing to do.

We will pay what it takes to get him and it will be a great hire that will invigorate a fanbase.

But Herman may still turn it down

Let's look at this way. There is one coach in the country who even approaches Saban's level. Urban Meyer. Saban ran him out of the conference with his tail between his legs. But I'm sure the guy who has spent a year and a half at Houston will be totally better than the greatest coach of all time
