Have you ever seen Trent run laterally? He runs straight ahead, carrying tacklers with him, there's no need to run away from them

laugh out loud if you think we are 2 deep.

Bama has 48 less rushing attempts yet has still outgained the tigers stable of backs by about 300 yds and 7 more Tds.

I noticed you left Quarterback advantage off the original post...Let me guess bama has an advantage there too?

played a lot of really shitty football teams

Against common opponents:
Tenn
LSU - 237 yards at 4.8 YPC
Bama - 143 at 3.8 YPC

Florida
LSU - 238 at 4.9 YPC
Bama - 226 at 5.3 YPC

Whoa, whoa, whoa..... Don't be bringing facts to this argument, stats only matter when they are in favor of bama.

Not usually, but if the LSU DL gets penetration on regular basis he is going to have to move laterally to avoid being tackled in the backfield before he gets going.

I find it very telling that the Tide couldn't really get the running game going last week at home against a very bad and inexperienced Tennessee front 7

Bama has the better defense

While I have little doubt the Bama defenders would win a hot dog eating contest, debating which defense is statistically better means nothing.

better RB stable

Trent Richardson will be the best RB in the stadium on November 5, but that does not mean you have the better RB corp.

I fully expect LSU to establish thier running game. Bama has not faced a OL like LSU's.

Going back to point 1, comparing stats doesn't give ou any insight on who will win. The 11 on 11 match ups is what will win the game and LSU is better 11 on 11 on offense, defense and special teams.

LSU will win and they will win fairly comfortably.

Trent will show up in a big way and we'll make our own plays in the passing game and win 27-14. Bama is the best team in the nation fellas.

well, that settles it. just cancel the game. boy, how dumb was c.b.s. to pay extra and move this game to prime time. The outcome has already been determined.
