I agree with that assessment Diddy. I don't think Saban is an X's and O's genius either. I think he wins with superior talent as well. Saban is just a good motivator of young men.

I think Chavis is top 3 on average in college football. Cam has yet to be seen.

i was a big fan of Chavis until he let Clemson beat LSU in the Chick-Fil-A bowl. the formula for shutting down the Chad Morris offense was well known, but Chavis didn't follow it. I concede LSU had better defensive talent than SC, especially at DB, but Chavis let the LSU defense get exposed to a cracker-jack offense.

Cameron wasn't fired for the offensive production. He and harbaugh did not get along. Also ray rice average 126 yards per game while he was there
